It plays like it hasn’t been meaningfully updated since the Obama era, which makes the grand, optimistic story about American democracy feel almost eerie in 2026. Given Trump, recent current events, and the very visible stress fractures in our constitutional system, the tone lands less like patriotic inspiration and more like denial. Worth seeing as a technical time capsule, but emotionally it felt like attending America’s funeral.
