  This is just such an amazing attraction! I honestly didn’t understand it as a kid, but enjoyed the AC during the hot summer days. As an adult, I appreciate it so much more and the education on human communication. Communication is soooo important and it’s one of the reasons everyone carries a smart phone in their pocket now. Absolutely love this attraction!

  Spaceship Earth is one of the most iconic sights at Walt Disney World. The giant geodesic sphere is impressive from the outside and is a must-see for every EPCOT visitor. The ride inside, however, wasn't nearly as memorable for our family. It's another one of those attractions that's more about getting off your feet, relaxing, and cooling down than providing much excitement. I'm sensing a theme with some of these classic Disney rides...they're excellent places to recharge during a long day in the Florida heat! If you're interested in the history of communication and technology, you'll probably enjoy it more than we did. Otherwise, I'd recommend it as a comfortable break rather than a must-do attraction. The outside of Spaceship Earth is definitely more impressive than the ride inside.

  This is an entertaining calm ride that allows you to be out of the sun and in AC for a while while also sporting a short line. The ride itself is educational and interesting. Not wild at all, but this pleasant trip is worth a stop. Have fun and God Bless!

  Spaceship Earth is the ride that defines Epcot and it earns that status in a way that holds up across decades of visits. The geodesic sphere is one of the most recognizable structures in all of theme park history and the visual impact of it greeting you as you walk through the Epcot gates never really gets old. The ride itself takes you on a slow, relaxed journey through the history of human communication, from cave paintings through to the modern era, with animatronics and scene work that reflects the classic Disney dark ride format at its most thoughtful. It is not a thrill ride and does not try to be. The pace is deliberate and the whole experience runs about fifteen minutes, which makes it one of the more meditative attractions in any Disney park. The storytelling carries genuine weight and the educational angle is handled in a way that feels engaging rather than dry. The garage scene toward the end of the journey is a fan favorite moment and lands well every time. The interactive screen component at the end of the ride adds a light touch of personalization that is charming without overstaying its welcome. Lines build quickly after park open and can push past 40 minutes during busy periods, so riding it early in the day or using Lightning Lane is the practical move. It is also an ideal choice when you need a break from the heat or want something that the whole group can do without any age or height considerations. The ride has had some mechanical roughness at times so the experience can vary slightly, but even on an off day it remains one of the more distinctive and worthwhile attractions at Walt Disney World.
