This is one of EPCOT’s oldest rides from 1982, and is a simple but very popular boat ride.
3 of our family group did the 'Behind the Seeds' tour which is one of EPCOT’s cheapest, where you get a full backstage greenhouse tour — and you can feed fish, examine bugs, and see experiments up close.
The greenhouses are real working labs and Disney genuinely grows food here — not just for show. Many crops end up in Garden Grill and Sunshine Seasons.
Mickey-shaped produce is grown in molds, Pumpkins, watermelons, and cucumbers are placed in plastic molds so they grow into perfect Mickey silhouettes.
NASA-style farming happens inside The “Creative Greenhouse” tests aeroponics, vertical farming, and techniques inspired by space agriculture. The fish tanks are part of a closed ecosystem
Tilapia and other fish produce nutrient-rich water that feeds the plants — a real aquaponics loop.
The prairie scene has a secret nod to Walt Disney with the farmhouse is inspired by Walt’s childhood home in Marceline, Missouri.

Nunca voltarei

This is just an all round great ride. It’s a welcome break from the sun, and the boat is quite peaceful!
