  I rode this 5 to 6 times possibly my favorite thing to do at Disney as a whole I loved seeing all the animals and all of our drivers were so funny and sweet! Will do again next time I visit

  The first thing we did when we entered Disney's Animal Kingdom was the Kilimanjaro Safari. The wait time in the morning was around 30 minutes, and the normal line was mostly in the shade, which was really helpful. Cathy was our tour guide during the Safaris, and she was friendly! She gave a great tour. The animals were active in the morning, so we saw most of them then. My toddler really loved the Safaris. It was a fantastic experience for both kids and adults.

  Years ago when they had the poacher skit as part of the ride it was also a fun ride and one of our families favorite rides and it would have been 5 stars. Now it’s just a nice drive through the Savannah and we only ride it now if there is a short wait.

  Like a zoo, but on steroids. The animals were pretty lively in the morning and seemed to have plenty of room to roam. Our tour guide/cast member was very friendly and knowledgeable about the animals. Wait times were reasonable early morning, but swell rapidly as late morning approaches. Really enjoyed it. Would do it again.

  Kilimanjaro Safaris was otherwise a very good experience. The guide was detailed and engaging, and the animals looked healthy and well cared for. However, while waiting to board, I noticed something very uncomfortable. More than one white couple in front of us was seated alone in a four-person row, with just the two of them occupying the whole row. But when it was our turn, even though we were also a party of two, we were told to share a row with another woman of color whom we did not know. This was not just a one-time coincidence. I watched the same seating pattern happen repeatedly for white couples ahead of us, while a different standard was applied to us. It was difficult not to question whether bias played a role. Aside from that, the ride itself was excellent. I just hope all guests are treated with the same fairness, consistency, and respect.
