  It's good but .. if you go early, be prepared not to see ANY animals at all! Also if you're staying in a Disney hotel this ride DOES NOT offer early entry for you. Much better later in the day but you will need to queue for up to an hour

  A world class attraction for sure… How did I not like this ride that much growing up, maybe I had terrible opinions about attractions like this one, but fortunately on my most recent trip, I changed my mind on this ride, it’s absolutely peak. It’s a simple premise to follow, you simply get on a wildlife jeep and enjoy around 20 minutes worth of an explorer telling you about the animals of the African savanna and then you see some impressive wildlife, at times it can be hit or miss, but for my experience, it is never a dull moment, as a bird almost flew into our vehicle, and I got some amazing pictures of the animals, and after all of that, the adventure ends. Even though it’s over, the memories of this ride on my previous three times I’ve been on it were very blurry and I remember calling this a five out of ten, but however, I was very happy to give this another chance after all these years and I was NOT disappointed with this landmark attraction of the park, and it’s easily one of their most unique attractions on property without a doubt.

  I’m checking into Kilimanjaro Safaris at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. I hadn’t been on this attraction in probably 10 years, and I honestly forgot just how incredible it is. We went around 11:30 in the morning, and while a few of the animals were understandably sleeping, we saw SO much. Giraffes were everywhere. The rhinos were active, the ostriches were out, we saw two lions, elephants were actually getting into the water, and even though the cheetah was apparently enjoying a very well-earned nap, there was something to see almost everywhere you looked. And here’s probably the best review I can give it: I don’t have a single picture. Not because there was nothing worth photographing. The exact opposite. I was having such a great time that I just sat there and watched it with my own eyes. Remember doing that? Our safari guide was fantastic too—knowledgeable, funny, and genuinely seemed excited about the animals we were seeing. A great guide makes a huge difference on something like this. I’ll admit, I wasn’t completely sold on Animal Kingdom before this visit. Kilimanjaro Safaris sealed the deal for me. You could put this attraction in the middle of an empty parking lot and I’d probably still pay admission. Absolutely incredible experience. This made me ridiculously happy. Five stars. And next time, I’m still probably forgetting to take pictures.
