  "World-Class Show, Third-World Exit" Fantasmic! (Hollywood Studios, Walt Disney World) – 4/5 stars Visited June 2026 Overview Fantasmic! is one of the most impressive things Disney does, full stop. The technology, choreography, and special effects all come together in a way that makes staying up late with the kids completely worth it. First visit for us, and the show itself did not disappoint. Pros • Spectacular production! The effects, choreography, and scale are all top-tier • 100% worth the late night, even with a 5- and 4-year-old in tow • Would absolutely make this a priority on any return trip Cons • The exit is a chaotic mess! A frustrating way to end an otherwise amazing day • Not all available egress is being used, which is hard to understand given the crowd size • No stroller vs. walker separation, potentially a simple two-path system (one per side of the amphitheater) would go a long way Conclusion Disney put serious Imagineering into this show. They need to apply even a fraction of that same thinking to getting thousands of people out afterward. The exit chaos genuinely dampens what should be a perfect end to a magical day. Still a must-see! Just mentally brace for the post-show scramble.

  Fantasmic is so worth it! Everytime I watch this show it makes me tear up a bit and I’m in my late 20’s! I recommend getting there early (at least 15-20 minutes) as it fills up quick! If there are 2 showings (sometimes there are when the park closes later), the first showing is usually very packed & the second showing has a lot less people. I recommend doing the second show if you’re up for a later night and less crowds.

  I had three kids with me and all were scared. Very demonic. Lots of villains but included all demonic demons and skulls. They have a villain show here and in comparison it was actually nice the show. This fantasia show is terrible and very poor. It hardly has any fireworks. And all just showing weird clips of movies and demons. If you want a show stay in front of the theater.

  The experience was great. If you dining at Hollywood Studios, the restaurant will give you a card to get great seats! The show was really worth it. The show starts at 9pm but we recommend going there at 815pm to get good seats.
