Our stay started off with a few hiccups during check-in. Although I completed the digital check-in after we landed at the airport around 4:00 p.m., our room still wasn't ready when we arrived at the resort. Once we received the notification that it was ready, we went straight to the room to get ready to head to the pool. Unfortunately, shortly after we entered, a housekeeper walked into our room without knocking and began asking our 12-year-old daughter if we had checked in. My husband politely asked her to step outside. While I understand that she needed to verify, knocking before entering would have been appreciated. The remainder of our stay was much smoother and more enjoyable. One area that could use improvement is communication. We asked about a late checkout and were told by the concierge that we could extend our checkout until 2:00 p.m. for an additional fee. Later, a manager informed us that this option wasn't available, so it appears we were given incorrect information.

5 stars people? Seriously? Generous reviewers, cast members? If you are not going to the parks, it is relaxing and nice to walk around the tree lined campus, otherwise it can be a hike to Artists Point quick service as buildings are spread out. Food area and gift shop combo is smallish for such an expansive resort. It is a vacation club so laundry is free by the pools (studio rooms) and in rooms (larger suites). Take buses everywhere or the slow boat to China to Disney Springs. Location meh. Walk to Disney Springs (who cares, overpriced strip center with little shade or reasonable places to shop/dine). Typically too expensive unless there is a special deal.

Our family had 3 two bedroom units in the Congress Park section for 5 nights. All the rooms were clean and spacious for our stay. Some of us requested more towels and they were brought to the room that day. After the 3rd night we received more supplies that was helpful as we were getting low on some items. Congress Park is a great location since it is a short walk to Disney Springs, has it's own quiet pool with a playground and also a short walk to the main pool, Artist's Pallete and Paddock pool area. We didn't have any problems getting on the bus to go to a park from this location either.

This is from the perspective of staying in the Treehouse Villas, and will seem very up and down, so you can decide the rating you take from it. I'm not sure I would stay at this resort again, even in the regular rooms, unless there weren't any renovations going on and everything was open in its proper location. As much as I love the Treehouse space, I would only stay in them again if I fully planned on driving myself everywhere, which I never do staying on Disney property. The refurbished Treehouse villas are amazing. Tons of space for up to 9 people, and the master bathroom shower is big enough to fit all 9 people in it. All the amenities that you need for an extended stay, though the dryer has issues actually drying certain things. The deck has a lot of space, though the table doesn't have adjusted feet and wobbles significantly. Everything is very comfy though. The resort is huge, though doesn't seem too bad when you walk across it. There's a small pool for every section, with a larger pool at the main central building that has a slide and more design elements around the pool. There's a basic cafeteria mobile order place, and a sit-down restaurant. The resort is also right next to Disney Springs and can be walked too, though a little far from the treehouses. But there's a bunch of bad. - The treehouses have barely any parking, when all of them are available again, you'll likely have parking issues. The parking spaces are really inconsistent too, like they were really an afterthought to the area, and they were just slapped into wherever they could fit them. - Using bus transportation takes so long, you're going to want to just drive your vehicle everywhere instead. - There is a bus that goes through the treehouses to bring you to the main resort bus stop where you transfer to a park bus, but you can often walk to the closest park bus stop faster than waiting for the transfer bus. - Deer flies are extremely bad around the treehouses, there were several around the transfer bus stops and a ton around the boat stop. If you're the type of person to get eaten by mosquitoes, deer flies are worse because they hurt as well, my feet are bloodied by the amount of scratching I've done. - There's supposed to be a spa at the main resort building, but supposedly it closed for Covid and never reopened. - There's supposed to be a walk-up cafe, but it's closed for renovation. - There's supposed to be a Turf Club Lounge, but it's just a portable alcohol drink station in an area with effectively no seating. I'm hoping this is just because the main Turf Club is going through a major renovation and there really is a real lounge normally, but a portable cart is unacceptable, just say the lounge is closed and don't bait guests for major disappointment especially by calling the room every day with "events" at the lounge trying to get people to come to the tiny definitely not lounge area. - There is a boat that goes between the treehouses, the main resort, and Disney Springs, and supposedly it's every 20 minutes, but we waited 30 minutes and gave up because of the deer fly attacks and walked instead.

We recently stayed at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The resort was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and in a great location with easy access to everything Disney has to offer. This trip was especially meaningful for our family as we wanted to make some special memories before our daughter’s upcoming open-heart surgery. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. One morning, they surprised our daughter with a stuffed Stitch, a bracelet, a heartfelt card, and several other thoughtful gifts. Their kindness and compassion truly touched our hearts and made her feel so special. Every Cast Member we encountered was friendly, helpful, and genuinely cared about making our stay magical. We are so grateful for the memories we made here and the kindness shown to our family during such an important time in our lives. We hope to make it back again soon. Thank you, Saratoga Springs, for an unforgettable stay!
