  I have stayed here before and I loved it. I decided to stay at the resort again due to a very good past experience. The positive was an early check in. Unfortunately the rest of the stay wasn’t as magical. The staff were nice enough but weren’t really accommodating like they were in the past, but the problem was the room. They had to reset the water heater to get warm water and then it took awhile even after the reset, it was resolved which was ok. The shower door wouldn’t close while taking a shower and there was mold on the door. I don’t think I will be staying at the resort again. Could have been a better experience for the price I did pay.

  We always love staying at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort. We stayed in a one-bedroom villa this trip. The rooms are well done, and clean; bus transportation wait times are reasonable, and activities around the resort are wonderful! The upgrades to the villas to include a murphy bed in the couch instead of a standard pull-out sofa bed, and a twin murphy bed under the TV are wonderful. With the renovations, the nods to Disney theme are even more subtle than before - which I missed a little. I liked seeing Disney's horses in the decor, rather than Mickey and friends interposed on real photographs of horses and horse racing. While the rooms' decor and furniture were updated, the washing machine and dryer unit had not been. It was loud and sounding like a belt was going to be thrown during the spin cycle. The oven had a hard time getting up to higher temps. Other than those things, the room was great, and our stay magical!

  Very dissapointed in this hotel. We are pass holders and love taking vacations at DIsney and staying on Disney property. Our experience at this hotel was the most disappointing we have had staying in the Disney bubble. When we got to our room we noticed a strong cigarette smell as there was a smoking section outside the walkway. We went to the front desk and asked if it was possible for us to be moved to another location as our youngest daughter has asthema. The gentleman who helped us was very nice and understanding. He found us another room. When we got to that room it could not have been closer to a smoking section. It was the closest room possible. So I went back to the desk, another gentleman helped, was extremly nice, apologized, sincere. He helped find another room and yes it was not near a smoking section. It really wasn't near anything as it was in the furthest section away from anything at the resort. But we were ok. Night one, the smoke alarm goes off in our room at 12:34am. Not chirping, full alarm. They would not turn off. We call the front desk, get told "we" have to call 911, we do that. We had to call the front desk 4 times because nothing was being done. Finally at 1:52am a maintenace guy comes out to change the batteries. Next morning my wife and I go down to the front dest to speak with a supervisor/manager because we wanted to make sure that the alarms were fixed and would not go off again. We were not looking for anything. We started the conversation by saying were not looking for anything for free. We were kind, didn't raise voices, were polite. The manager not once made eye contact with us. We could tell that we were a bother to her. She probably just assumed we were looking for something for nothing. She had her face in the computer. As soon as we were finished explaining what happened and simply asking that the alarms be addressed so we wouldn't have the same problems, she immediately said that she had credited our room a $100 and she was sorry. So that confirmed to us that she was not listening to anything we were saying and just gave us a robotic response to get us to go away. She was completely the opposite of the 2 people who helped us the day before. Needless to say we will still vacation at Disney, we will stay on Disney property. We will not stay at this resort again as I don't believe the leadership at the resort or at least the leader we delt with on that morning cares about the experience of the guests. There are many many better options to stay at like the Old Key West, Contemporary, Yacht Club, Board Walk, Cabins, Coronado, Carribbean Beach, Riverside, Art of Animation, Pop Century, and the All Star Family Suites.

  We had a wonderful 7 day, 6 night stay at Saratoga. I haven’t been to Disney in many years, but decided to take a big family trip this year for several celebrations. We booked a 2 bedroom villa and requested the Grand Stand due to it being the first bus stop from the parks, and this was very convenient with having 2 infants, a toddler, and an 8 year old after a long park day. We were close to the pool which was also a luxury when the kids were ready to go swim and accessible for even our almost 2 year old. The rooms were so clean and honestly the nicest I’ve ever had the privilege to stay in. Our Mousekeeper was wonderful and gave us exciting things to come back to. We were a short walking distance from our room to the Artist’s Pallet. And I highly recommending everything on their menu. We ate more here than the parks. The food was delicious. Overall is a beautiful resort and hope to be back for many more years.

  When we arrived at 10 am our room was not ready which is what I expected and perfectly fine with. Bell services took our bags and held onto them. We went to Blizzard Beach and had a fun time. When we got back to Saratoga at 5 pm we signed up for Bell Services to take us and our luggage to our room. We did not get to our room until 630. Completely unacceptable especially with two tired and hungry boys. To put more disservice was a bag was missing. It was found eventually but again yet another delay. The room was clean but very outdated for the price we paid. I would honestly be better off staying at one of the non Disney hotels nearby and gotten better amenities and service. After staying at other hotels within the Disney lineup this is the one I will end up remembering the most. I was contemplating becoming a DVC member but after seeing the manner in which I will be treated once I commit, my money will be going elsewhere.
