  When we arrived, Erick was a huge help with our luggage. They even delivered them to our room while we were at Animal Kingdom which was a nice surprise. Rooms were decent and clean with recent renovations but the property is old and feels like a motel in Anaheim instead of a resort property at Disneyworld. I was disappointed and should have just spent more to stay at a moderate property. On the day we arrived a fire alarm went off at 9pm for 15 minutes right as we were getting ready for bed and one of us was in the shower. Even worse another fire alarm went off again at 2:30am for 15 minutes. We planned to rope drop Magic Kingdom the next day but didn’t go back to sleep until after 4:30AM and were therefore too tired. Luckily we didn’t have multi-passes until 11. The pools seem fun for kids but rest of the community space is just kitschy decor. The property needs more gathering space for families in the courtyards instead of gigantic statues of Disney characters or century specific icons. Some tables, a place to sit, maybe a fireplace, or water fountain, etc. would be a better use of the space for gathering outside of the small rooms. We requested a specific building months ago when we booked but were assigned to the 80’s building. We calculated that we walked an additional 3,700 steps a day just to get to the buses, skyliner, and restaurant from our room. If you buy the dining plan, don’t plan to use the refillable mug if you don’t have a room that’s close. Not worth the effort to walk back and forth for 10 ounces of water, coffee, or soda if you do not get a preferred room. The restaurant was decent but incredibly crowded in the AM. Breakfast had decent options and the to go section was freshly stocked throughout the day. Total chaos between 7-10AM honestly, order through the app and pick it up if you can. Now about the skyliner. This was one of the reasons we booked Pop Century. The buses DO NOT run in tandem to Epcot or Hollywood Studios. The skyliner line on Oct 12th as we were trying to get to Epcot was over 90 minutes long!! We ended up taking a Lyft. Additionally, on the day we went to Hollywood studios the skyliner broke down with us on it, for 20 minutes making us have to rush to get to our lightening lanes. In the evenings when we would leave the parks and take the skyliner, we were sat with strangers which wouldn’t be a big deal but we had the misfortune of being on them with extremely tired small children and frustrated parents. Not a great time. The line attendants could be trained to pay closer attention to the needs of the guests who are in line. Speaking of line attendants, what is it with the employees managing ride lines yelling at guests to “fill up the space” “move closer”, etc. It’s obnoxious. Someone in my party was literally standing one foot away from the man in front of her when the employee looked at her and yelled “move up”! What? No thanks. With that said, all of the employees at the restaurants we visited were stellar. Tessa at Steakhouse 71 was especially great. I grew up in Anaheim and have had an annual pass most of my life. This was our 4th trip to Disneyworld and I will only be visiting one more time when my grandkids are old enough. After this trip, I unfortunately think I’ve had enough of Disneyworld to last a lifetime.

  As a child, my parents would take us to Disney World a few times a year. It was one of the highlights of my youth. The Magic of the “Most Magical Place On Earth” was the overall experience at being there. From the parks, to character experiences, and of course the resorts too. So when I got a couple free days from work I decided to head up. I booked my trip 24 hours before I arrived, and didn’t know where to stay. I knew I would be spending the majority of my time in the parks, but still wanted to feel that Disney Magic. Pop Century is oozing with it. I loved the fact I could online check-in through the My Disney App. It was almost as easy as downloading the app itself. So as soon as I got into the property(I had less than 24 hours to get to everything I wanted) I could walk straight to my room. I used the app to open my door instead of needing a physical key. And as soon as I opened the door, I could feel it. The Magic. The room was spotless. Incredibly clean, fresh air, and the tv had something on as I kid I always loved. The Park hours and events channel! As if to remind you the magic doesn’t stop here. It’s going to be with you everywhere you go. I quickly went out the door to hit two parks and came back for a quick night’s rest before the full day ahead. One of the best parts of staying at a resort hotel is the morning before you get to a park. You wake uo, get yourself ready, and then head to the main hall where busdes can transport you to any park you want. But for me, it’s breakfast at the resort! The food hall is incredibly clean, stylized perfectly through all the decades of pop century. And the options were fantastic! I had the avocado breakfast bowl for my healthy option, but of course had to indulge in the Mickey shaped waffles too! The ideal way to fuel up the body before a full day in all four parks(I walked 40,000 steps that day). Something I had not experienced yet was the Disney skylines. A gondola system to travel between four hotels and two theme parks. It was absolutely fantastic! A massive perk of staying at Pop Century is the skyliner itself! I exclusively want to stay in hotels on the skyliner, because it was so easy to use. I never had to wait(until the final night close to park closing at EPCOT) and every cast member was a joy to interact with in its routes. So all in all, if you asked me where to stay at Walt Disney World, I would absolutely suggest Pop Century. It’s affordable, clean, themed brilliantly, and of course full of Disney Magic. I can’t wait to go back!

  Bring your earplugs. The preferred room I stayed in was clean enough, though there was no shampoo in the shower and that was not fixed when the room was cleaned (I had to ask for more). But the walls and floors were so paper thin that I could hear clear conversations in the room next door and through the ceiling when it was clear the neighbors were talking at normal volume. Staff was friendly enough, though the first person I talked to about the noise problem at check out blamed me (which makes no sense, what would they have done, it wasn’t the neighbors fault they weren’t speaking at high volume). Food is fine, nothing special. Vibes are fun and good for families, but it’s a loud resort (paired with paper thin walls makes for an interesting combo-glad the pool closes in time to get some sleep). For location, the skyliner is convenient. However, when it shuts down for maintenance or weather you are stuck sharing busses (which don’t come often enough) with all the skyliner resorts, or waiting. It’s faster than a bus when it works, but I won’t prioritize a stay at a skyliner resort in the future. It went down every day at one point or another during my stay. I was stuck waiting mid day for routine maintenance and another evening in the pouring rain (I get it, but it’s not convenient) for busses for more than 45 minutes. So, at your own risk there.

  My husband and I just stayed 09/26/26-10/06/26 and I have to say the Disney quality and customer service had falling down by ALOT. No one greets you as you enter the resort, shopping or dining location. The new Disney way is to say NO about everything. Perfect example at Old Key West Resort, Goods Food To Go the menu lists mac n cheese as a side for your entree however you will be told NO mac n cheese cannot be chosen. We go annually for our anniversary and sometimes twice a year and did not even have Happy Anniversary on the TV welcome screen as we have always had before. It is very disheartening to see how far down Disney is falling. We spend lots of money at Disney World and are really considering alternate destinations as Disney is just not as much a Happy place as it used to be. The price increases across the board is also gotten way out of hand. Lets not forget all the exclusions and limitations to the dining plan as far as what quick serve locations actually take the dining plan and or excluded items from the quick serve menu.... too many little things to have navigate on top of having to stay teetered to a phone the whole time to mobile order food or wait 45 mins for french fries at Casey's Corner. This last trip has left a very sour taste for disney for us.

  The following is a summary of what happened and we shared with multiple managers from 9/26-10/2/26. 1. There is no ice machine working in our building. The one time I went to the Petals Pool bar for some ice, I was told by the bartender, "I can give you a cup of ice. What you choose to do with it is your business." - Completely unprofessional. Ice machines have not worked since arrival. All four floors are out. 2. Most if not all of the refillable mug stations do not have ice and the diet coke is hit and miss if working. When it does work, diet coke is flat. Have been mentioning this since Sunday 09/27/26. 3. Food from various stations of the food court is routinely cold. Have been mentioning this since Sunday. Also, no mobile orders are ready within the pickup window time frame. 15 - 30 minutes late. 4. Had a transportation incident caused by poor driving of a bus driver talked about by multiple guests on the way home from Animal Kingdom Sunday afternoon. One stop was so sudden I was thrown onto a child. Thankfully no injuries, but from mid bus, I even saw the pedestrians crossing in a crosswalk on resort property and could have stopped the bus better, sooner, and smoother. This issue is the only one that was resolved. Eric from transportation reached out to me with an apology and I was able to call him back and leave voicemail with details on the problem. 5. Eating a cold pizza that was late to come out at a table by Petals last evening at 10:37pm and a cockroach decided to join us. See attached picture. I am glad we did not have a bag on the ground for us to take it back to our room. Should we or the staff warn the first floor rooms that roaches may come in through their doors? Was told in a condescending manner by a manager at the front desk that it was just a "Palmetto bug." Well, I have spent much time in the south and know that palmetto bugs and cockroaches are the same animal, both casually and scientifically. I also know that a palmetto bug is just a roach that happens to prefer living outside, but will come in if it has the chance. I also know that in the early part of the last century, southern hotels and resorts just made up the name palmetto bug so that people would not think they had a roach infestation. At this point we have to spend time discussing problems over and over again instead of just enjoying our trip. Disney has been consistent in setting a standard of service until we came to Pop Century. We in good conscience will tell everyone who asks us to NOT STAY at this resort.
