Splash pad was closed very unfortunate with toddler, requested bed bumpers and a fan.. they brought the fan in 10 min no bed bumpers. Then I called back down and asked again for them. Waited 15 minutes they said they are on their way noone came. Called again around 20 min later and asked they said "coming"... still took another while. I was waiting to put my child to bed this whole time and they couldve said itll be an hr. I wouldve put her to sleep first and not waited. The rooms were not very clean. There were 2 hairs in the shower upon arrival and the shower just needed to be cleaned better in general. Prints on the metal pieces and build up. We have stayed at art of animation 3 other times and I prefer there... personally. I do like that it was close to skyliner. I did like the quick check in but the girl didnt show me all rooms available and let me pick but art of animation did. Had to request the box fan in the first place because the room was super hot. Doesn't go below 68 and couldnt get fan to stay on constantly so just hot.

The hotel was perfect for our needs. The rooms were beautifully renovated, and the whole resort felt very green and relaxing with so many trees, plants, and amazing wildlife like bunnies and squirrels around the property. Transportation was super convenient. It was only one quick bus ride to Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom, and an easy Skyliner ride to Hollywood Studios. all were free The food area was great and very easy to use. Their Mediterranean meatballs were so good that I ended up eating them three times during our stay! we did a online order for some fruits, milk, juice, snacks to be delivered to the hotel, and it was also convenient The entertainment at the Hippy Dippy Pool was also fantastic. I would definitely recommend checking with reception to find out what activities are happening, along with the times and locations. The reception staff were lovely. We were lucky enough to be greeted by Lisa, who was incredibly kind and provided amazing customer service. She helped answer all of our questions and made us feel very welcome. I would absolutely recommend this hotel, and we will definitely be staying here again.

For what it’s worth, Pop Century will always be a favorite resort for my family. Cast members are usually friendly, the value is great for the price, you are on the Skyliner, the rooms are clean. This review is only for this trip. Other times we have stayed here would have been rated much higher. Something was off this time though. Maybe my wife and I had too high of expectations (is there such a thing at Disney?). We were there celebrating our 10th anniversary, and we were taking advantage of a split stay. Few nights at Pop, and then a night with Theme park view at a Deluxe resort on our actual anniversary. On two separate occasions, on two separate days, when checking in and then asking a question at the front desk, the comments were, “so you are just slumming it up with us and then going to the Polynesian? I see. We aren’t good enough.” Of course they were said with a smile, but I have never heard a cast member refer to a Disney property as a slum. I mean, we stayed at Seralago before we knew better, (IYKYK). Even when telling the concierge at the Polynesian about the multiple comments, they were appalled. Will this impact us coming to Disney? Absolutely not. But, I have made reservations for three more resorts on property and have chosen to avoid Pop Century. Again, normally it is great, and maybe it was just us this time, but Cast Members who pride themselves on service should not refer to any Disney property as “slumming it up.”

I have been to Walt Disney World 15 times and this was my third time staying on property. I do think this was my most favorite Disney trip of all time. I met back up with the love of my life from 21 years ago. We had been separated for 13 years, and decided to meet at Disney World for a trip. I had no expectations, and upon arrival, our trip instantaneously turned into the most effortless, and magical experience I could've asked for. Romance, laughter, magic, safety, feeling welcome everywhere, and cast members who went out of their way from the Bell services, to the front desk, to the janitors, drawing pictures on the sidewalks, this is worth every penny. The rooms are gorgeous, and are refurbished and designed to suit your every need. The Skyliner is a to the janitors, drawing pictures on the sidewalks, this is worth every penny. The rooms are gorgeous, and are refurbished and designed to suit your every need. The Skyliner is an extra added perk, and the price point combined with the fact that you have that free outlet for transportation, which is the key to literally connecting to every other free source of transportation is priceless. The times I've stayed on property at Disney have been nothing short of magical and have saved me hundreds of dollars in transportation alone. And parking. I cannot recommend this enough. I booked my family of 11 for November for art of animation. And I will continue to come back for years to come. The absolute only reason I am giving four stars for the room is because of the soundproofing issue. I could literally hear the families on either side of my room when they were talking at a normal volume. Which meant that I could hear every Disney movie played in surroundsound at all hours, and could hear every footsteps of every child at all hours of the night. Bravo! 9.5/10

I've been coming to Walt Disney World off and on since 1977. I've always been a big fan but after 49 years I've noticed a major change since my last trip 5 years ago. Cast member contact had always been a major part of the experience as no one is better at customer service than Disney. From friendly banter to going above and beyond to make sure every need was quickly taken care of. I was stunned at the change in attitudes of a noticeable amount of younger cast members. While this doesn't apply to the majority, there was a noticeable amount of interactions that were disappointing. Examples included; 1. Not responding to greetings. Lack of eye contact and smiles. 2. Distracted talking to their co-workers. 3. Using their cell phones. 4. Asking questions and being told to look it up on my My Disney Experience App. 5. After returning to my room on a day when mousekeeping had been there I found the pile of dirty towels I had placed on the shower were still in there. The bed had been made but the sheet was hanging partially on the floor on one side. 6. One mousekeeper was sitting on the stairs reading her phone while I was trying to climb the stairs. Other issues I ran in to during my stay at Pop Century included the following; 7. One of the power stations on top of the bureau did not work. 8. The sink stopper was stuck in the closed position and couldn't drain water. 9. The TV Set did not turn on. 10. Beverage cooler was buzzing loudly. 11. My room was not ready at the 3:00 check-in time even though I had checked in online. 12. Beverage dispensers in the Everything POP Dining area frequently were not cold. 13. Purchased One day memory maker photo pass. Received a receipt but never got the photos. Had to go to 3 different customer service agents to get it resolved. 14. Could not read labels on phone in room to get hold of guest services to report the above issues. The labels where old and worn out. When I reported these issues they were repaired the next day at my request. I am still a big Disney fan and will certainly be back but I hope they examine feedback like this and find a way to better train new employees. Hopefully before they are sent to work with customers who are paying a tremendous amount of money for a Disney vacation.
