  One of my favorite resorts at Disney. The rooms are comfortable, it quiet even when it busy with guests. It has the charm of a old Key West village Worth the stay. There are 4 pools at this resort. There is a place to toast marshmallows. They have movie night.

  Our four night stay was great. Six adults in two rooms. Deluxe Villa rooms. We stayed on the second floor. No elevators. Also, because this is a DVC location, don't expect typical service. You get new towels every four days or so. Trash gets taken out every night. Ice machines are located at the Disney Transportation bus stops. If you have the time, take the relaxing ferry to Disney Springs.

  We were very disappointed in our stay at Old Key West. As DVC owners who have stayed at all the Deluxe resorts and this was by far our worst experience. The rooms were not clean, housekeeping did not clean our room once during our 7 day stay. We needed to request they come and empty our trash. We were also not told that they would be starting power washing between 4:30 and 5:00 AM each morning right outside our room and we have two young kids, 5 and under 2. Would not recommend this resort.

  This has to have been the worst disney resort I have ever had the misfortune of staying at. We had about 4 good days in my two week vacation and every other time was miserable. It started with blankets we received after a cleaning that smelled like a dead animal, when we complained we were brought new blankets that smelled the same way. Upon further complaint and speaking to a MANAGER we were told because they were “100% cotton” and just smelled like that, and we were told they weren’t supposed to touch our skin. We have been through multiple people, and “managers” only for the issue to not be solved, and even had a manager laugh in my mothers face making jokes. Then on our last night there, my grandma and SISTERS came to our room to see a man with his pants down defecting into a bush and upon spotting them ran upstairs with his pants down completely exposing himself, and defecating on the steps on the way up. When we called to complain we were told they were doing what they can and offered no sympathy, it was pathetic and so was the entire resort. Our vacation was 10k and this is the service we got, save your money and stay at any other resort.

  I spent 2 nights 09/20-22/2026 at a Deluxe Studio near the Hospitality House at OKW This was my first Solo trip and I had transferred from a Deluxe Preferred Studio at The Boardwalk Villa. I had last stayed at OKW with a group of 8 family members in 2004, so it had been awhile since I had stayed there, but I have eaten at Olivia's while on other vacations. The room was 1310. It was just across the street from the Hospitality House & Olivia's. Great location. The room appears to me to be worn, like me it was showing it's age. I think it was in one of the Buildings being worked on and I thought it could really use a uplift. I love OKW, but I missed the Jimmy Buffet music and the Family photos on Olivia's walls. Cast Members were great. The staff at Olivia's was fabulous and the one gal outside took my picture in front of the Olivia's sign. It was a great resort to end my 10 vacation with, although I am nostalgic and miss somethings. The cheerfulness of cast members were a plus. I felt the lobby was busier then I have seen it in the past, mainly on the 20th, the day I arrived. Great for Disney and a major surprise was seeing Mickey, Minnie & Donald visiting the guests waiting in the Hospitality House. 🙂👍🥰 Other than the room showing it's age as we all do as we get older I had a wonderful stay.
