This was our first time staying Club level at the Boardwalk Inn. This was an expensive upgrade, but all of the club level attendees were very helpful and even helped us to entertain our children so we could get a bite to eat here and there! They truly went above and beyond. The lounge was always clean and well-stocked along with all of the typical kid-friendly foods like fruit pouches, milk, juices, uncrustables etc. I cannot say enough wonderful things about our head concierge, Rhett, who greeted us kindly each time we passed the desk, or Ginny who works in the lounge. This was a magical experience and we will definitely stay at the Boardwalk Inn again! The location between Epcot and Hollywood studios is wonderful. It eliminates buses, boats and monorails with only a short walk to each. If your kids like seeing Disney characters, we saw them every day at this resort! Big plus for the crumb cake which was decadent!

First time at Boardwalk and it was a pleasure! Our room was great (bathroom needed some extra cleaning, but we let them know). Proximity to parks and other resort food was great. Service was 10/10, they went above and beyond to celebrate us on our 30th anniversary!
The main downside for me is the food situation. You must walk outside a ways to get to food (as opposed to other Disney resorts, which have their “food court” areas inside, just off the lobby generally). This was a pain when it was raining during our visit. Also the food nearby is mostly very expensive. Pool bar had sandwiches, but we were told there was no kitchen—they were made off-site and brought in, so weren’t fresh and were soggy. Just not enough reasonable choices. A little disappointing for a “Deluxe” property with a high price tag.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Unforgettable Father's Day at Disney's Boardwalk Inn — Club Level is Worth Every Penny
I couldn't have asked for a better Father's Day weekend. Disney's Boardwalk Inn delivered an experience that was nothing short of magical, and the Club Level took it to a whole new level.
From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like VIPs. Every team member went out of their way to make the stay special — warm, attentive, and genuinely happy to be there. That Disney hospitality is real.
The Club Level lounge was the highlight of our stay. Morning breakfast, afternoon snacks, evening appetizers and drinks — everything was well-curated and consistently replenished. It's the kind of perk that makes you never want to leave the resort.
The location is unbeatable. Stepping outside to the Boardwalk entertainment, being a short walk or boat ride from EPCOT and Hollywood Studios — it keeps the magic going even when you're not in a park. It's the perfect balance of convenience and atmosphere.
If you're celebrating something special and want Disney to feel truly elevated, the Boardwalk Inn Club Level is the way to do it. Already looking forward to coming back.

When I’d visited Disneyworld long long ago it seemed to me that the Boardwalk area was hopping and felt like a decently upscale adult option for a resort stay. However, at our recent stay the Boardwalk didn’t have that feeling, not much going on day or night and while the place was maintained well it felt a bit basic. We chose the resort for its proximity to particular parks and enjoyed the walkability to Epcot and Hollywood Studios, and when we needed the bus to hit Magic Kingdom and Animal Park it wasn’t too packed and the trips were short and easy.
As for our room, clean, very basic, fairly small, with a decent sized balcony. The mattresses weren’t too bad at all, not overly firm. Appreciated that they provided thinner feather pillows too, not just thick stuffed foam. Easy check in/out. With the app you can go straight to your room and unlock your door…check out on the tv or app. I would’ve enjoyed more food options nearby, but we did eat -and order using the app- at the deli as well as the Italian restaurant on the Boardwalk and both were good.
Overall we had a good stay. I would try a different resort if I returned, but Boardwalk Inn served our needs for this visit quite well.
The good. The resort and grounds are beautiful, clean, and well-kept. All cast members were polite and helpful. Reyna in housekeeping was lovely. She did her job well and had such a kind, positive, cheerful attitude. She was a joy. Our room on the 5th floor had a perfect view of the Epcot fireworks every night and we watched from our beds. Just wonderful!
The not great. The walls are definitely thin and you can hear the other people on your floor and you can easily hear conversations being had by other guests in the hallways/other rooms.
I am a very early riser and wished coffee was available at 6am. There are Keurig's/k-cups in the rooms, but I did not want to wake my daughter by brewing coffee at 6am. No coffee or ice water was available in the lobby until 6:30am when Carousel Coffee opened. At that time, their employees put out 2 large coffee pots of regular coffee in the Boardwalk Inn dining area. No decaf or flavored creamers were available. We stayed at GF twice in the past where there were regular and decaf coffees, a variety of creamers (flavored), and a full array of ice water, tea, lemonade, and sodas available at 6am in Gasparilla Grill. I guess was spoiled by that and missed the convenience.
We purchased the refillable mugs even though there is no quick service available at Boardwalk Inn because many reviewers reported that Boardwalk Deli was just a short walk away and was still very convenient. This is somewhat true (the short walk part) --HOWEVER-- they do not open until 7am, the place is very small/cramped, it had a constant burned toaster oven smell, and there is no indoor seating available. Filling our mugs proved to be awkward/difficult -- especially during breakfast, lunch, and dinner times when it was super crowded.
Food options on the boardwalk are OK but not terrific. The hot dog place is affordable and good. The Cake Bake Shop is beautiful, the cake is amazing, and it is well worth a visit. The Ice Cream Shop has ridiculously long wait times but the ice cream is very good if you have the patience for it. The General Store turned out to be our favorite place because they had a nice variety of drinks, baked goods, and food staples, but again -- you have to walk there from the resort.
I'm glad we tried Boardwalk because the resort itself is very lovely, but we probably will not stay there again due to the lack of quick service (especially ice water and coffee) on site.
