The room was a ok, nothing special and the exact same as all the other value resorts. We stayed a week and housekeeping showed up once to clean the room and swap out towels and sheets, maybe disney could fire more of the big wigs in charge of horrible business practices that focus on nickel and diming customers and hire a few more housekeepers. The activities for the kids that used to be free ( s'mores) now they want to charge you for. The parks were understaffed and the wait times ballooned because corporate focused on marginal profits rather than a positive customer experience. This was a trip to say farewell to my mom who passed away in May this year to cancer, my daughter and I came because disney was the last trip all three of us took before she got too sick years ago. I wish we had made other plans. The hotel staff were great but they are spread thin. We had a horrible trip. Disney should stop squeezing people for every last cent and staff appropriately.

My family started visiting Disney world 40 years ago. My mother was there 13 times. I have been there 5 times and I have taken my grandchildren there 2 times so far. I would have to say that in resent years the magic has dwindled. The staff and workers there are not as happy and friendly as they used to be. There are still some that are but for the most part not so happy. I think there should be more benches to take a break on for us old folk who are traveling with our families. we purchased the lightning lanes and they worked for the most part but every time we went to the speedway track at magic kingdom it said we were not scheduled when it clearly had it on my phone as scheduled and when our first-tier ride was closed down we were not able to get another ride in that category or even reschedule our ride that we missed. as far as our room. it was ok but we liked our suite at music the last time better. the kitchen was bigger and the layout was better. I asked to be in cars but close to the big nemo pool as possible and was given a room the farthest away as you could get. After asking to be switched to another room he said he could only tell me which building but not the room it would be. Then said he could move us to Nemo but would cost $60 a night more. The rooms were set up the same way but yet we had to pay more. The food court was run very poorly. The food was not as good as it used to be either and not too many things that the kids would eat. Out of condiments all the time dirty tables etc. As far as food in the parks most restaurants catered to the Adults and not the kids. The menus were not kid friendly. Early entry is a joke for the most part you get in the park but can't go where you want to go. For the first time in my life I was pretty disappointed I really hope that things get better for my next trip or I will have to consider other options.

Love this hotel, it is in my top 3 Disney resort properties. We were in the Cars Suite this time and appreciated being on the first floor, close to the doors straight out to the pool. I like that the pools stay open until 11pm as well as the food court. My 3 year old son cut his toes on/in the splash pad drain and I went to the front desk and they were so well stocked with various bandaids and ointments. They even called the next morning to check on him. I appreciated having plenty of towels and an extra blanket in the room- saved me from calling mousekeeping for more. The kitchenette is stocked with disposable utensils +papertowels!! I think some extra ice bucket bags would be helfpful. No complaints. Noise was low. Staff were friendly. Negative comment is about the foodcourt and not the rooms. Lines for the food ordering are a bit ridiculous and then by the time you get through the "double line one server" type checkout, the food is cold :( the dining plan processing is super slow as well. I still had 1 quick service and 3 snacks remaining but the line was already 18 minutes and we were still 6 people away so I put everything down and headed to the curb for my Uber. Guess I could've timed it better on my part, but spending 36 minutes in total just on trying to get food, let alone having time to eat it, just really got me. So I was disappointed that I headed to the airport without having used my last credits. Other than that, everything was fine. Weather was a but rainy. Didn't see lightning, but must've been because pools were closed several times.

We love Arts of Animation. We arrived early and they were able to get us in rooms with only a short wait. I wish they offered a bit larger room without paying extra for a family suite. We had 2 rooms of 4 which included 7 adults and my 4 yr old grandson so we were stuck in the Little Mermaid section the farthest building away from the lobby. Inconvenient but rooms were clean and well serviced and we aren't in our rooms much so not a huge issue. The ice machine on our floor also did not work. We did have trouble with the dining plan and the staff applying our credits when we ordered in the landscape of flavors. We always asked when we ordered our options and then when checking out they said it didn't qualify when in fact it should have. It happened several times. One instance my grandson got a kids meal of scrambled eggs with a side of tater tots which is an ok substitute. When checking out the lady said it was an avocado tater tot bowl without the avocado or any other toppings. My son said no it's a kid's meal that they just happened to put in a bowl instead of a plate, but she made him charge his credit card. It was our last day and since we had no more time to use up our meals, I went to the front desk and they did reverse the charges but the line was long and it was a huge inconvenience and also put us behind in getting on the road for a 17hr drive. I'm not sure we really saved with the dining plan for the hassle it was. We have done dining plan in the past and this is the first year we've had issues. The only other issue was the skyliner being down on the day we were headed to Epcot so we had to wait over an hour to get on a bus. All in all we had a great trip filled with family and made so many wonderful memories.

Dear Resort Management, We absolutely loved staying at your resort. For the most part, everyone was very helpful and kind, and the other guests were wonderful. Unfortunately, there was one interaction with a Cast Member that left me very embarrassed and upset. While my grandchildren were trading pins, they were using the kids-only pin board. One of my grandchildren noticed a Summer pin on another board and asked me if I could get it for her. I was going to make the trade for her, since she was with me and had not traded on that particular board. The Cast Member told me that I could only trade once a day. I understand the one-trade-per-day rule, but I explained that I was getting the pin for my grandchild, who had not yet traded on that board. Instead of simply explaining the policy, the Cast Member proceeded to lecture me about the honor system and told me, in front of the other guests, that I was not following it. I felt extremely embarrassed and uncomfortable being spoken to this way in front of everyone. I have visited Disney three times since June, and my grandchildren have been trying all summer to find this particular pin. We were simply trying to enjoy the pin-trading experience, and I feel this interaction was unnecessary and could have been handled much more kindly. I also want to clarify that I only trade authentic pins on the boards and would never intentionally disregard Disney's rules or the honor system. We truly enjoyed our stay and appreciate all of the Cast Members who made our visit special. I am sharing this experience because I hope situations like this can be handled with more understanding and courtesy, especially when children and grandparents are simply trying to enjoy a Disney tradition together. Thank you for taking the time to listen to my concerns. I hope you will look into this interaction and help ensure that future guests are treated with the same kindness and courtesy that we otherwise experienced during our stay. Sincerely, Lynne
