Everything about our experience was amazing except for one very important issue. The hotel offered a wonderful service where they transported our luggage from the airport to the hotel and delivered it directly to our room. It was a great convenience because we didn't have to worry about carrying our bags while heading to the hotel. Unfortunately, it rained that day, which delayed our luggage delivery by about five hours. While the delay itself wasn't a major issue—we simply enjoyed other activities while we waited—what happened when our luggage finally arrived was incredibly disappointing. Our luggage had apparently been left sitting outside in the rain. Every suitcase was completely soaked, and so were all of our clothes. They weren't just damp; they were saturated. We could literally wring water out of our clothing. As a result, we were unable to change for dinner that evening, and we had to wear damp clothes the following day because nothing had time to dry overnight. It was such a disappointing way to begin what was supposed to be a magical vacation. It's a shame that an otherwise wonderful experience was overshadowed by something that could have been prevented with better handling of our luggage. I understand safety of staff but does our luggage need to be sitting outside in the weather? Had we picked up our luggage this would not have happened. If the guests picking up their luggage were able to received their luggage dry why did ours have to sit in the rain and wait for the hotel transfer team to grab our items?

It was a great and memorable experience for my family and I and countless memories were made that will stay with us for the remainder of our lives. Check-in was pretty smooth and hassle free other than having to wait in an extended line for others to check in, but other than this, it went without any issues. We closed out at Disney Springs where we did dinner and were able to pay for the Memory Maker Photo plan The experience, the feelings for me and my family, and the attention I received was beyond words. Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, and EPCOT were all amazing! All parks were clean, magical, and made us all feel like a kid again. Overall, kudos to the entire Disney Cast Member team! Everything was beyond expectations and even the few snags we encountered were rectified fairly quickly. This was a memorable experience, and we should be planning a trip back there for April if we can get signed up for the run that is held there during that month. Thank you again, please attached pictures and hopefully this is what works for you in terms of feedback, energy, and views on our experience!

Check in was good. My kids magic band+ would not work, they took it and gave us a voucher for a different one. When she did not find one she liked, they told us tuff luck just get one. I tried to get the old one back to get a refund they said no. I did talk to the Disney store, they said Art of animation should refund us. Art of animation said no. Disney store is working on refunding me, but I don't have the band to return. Our rooms air broke down, we told them at 8. We planned an early morning the next day. They never sent anyone or called back. At 11 I called them, they told me the building was having issues. Offered us a fan or to move. We got the fans hoping we could salvage the next day. Sadly that did not work. I know what my people need, sleep wise and the did not get it. It was also my husband and my 26th wedding anniversary. I knew it would make them all cranky. I have a kid with ADHD, one with ADHA thats also on the spectrum. We wanted a special dinner that night. I was told by Courtney, it would be fine, we could complete the park in that amount of time. We choose to move rooms, new room was not clean. They moved us buildings. 2nd New room was fine. I ask for a discount on a Saturday night stay so we could do the park then. I was told no. I was given dinner vouchers. We have stayed at this resort several times and it was not this bad.

I will honestly never go back to Airbnb after the wonderful experience we had staying at an official Disney resort! My family and I stayed at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, and the theming was absolutely breathtaking. We truly felt transported right into our favorite Disney movies. Even the little details were magical, like the seagulls by the pool occasionally shouting “mine, mine, mine!” just like in Finding Nemo. My daughter made new friends at the pool, and the whole resort really felt like a home away from home. We loved the pin trading options and had so much fun exploring. The location was fantastic. We especially enjoyed being able to easily hop around and visit other Disney resorts. We also took advantage of the perks of driving to Hollywood Studios, parking for free, and getting early admission, which made our days even more special. Our room was clean and well-kept, which honestly is more than I can say for many Airbnbs we’ve stayed in. Seeing our last name on the TV when we walked in was such a fun, personal touch! We also enjoyed trying out the “Hey Disney” Alexa system. The different pool options were great, and “Movies Under the Stars” was such a lovely way to wind down in the evenings. If I had one suggestion, it would be to add more daily activities, especially for rainy days. There were only two minor downsides for us. First, we stayed in the Little Mermaid section, and while the room layout was typical for a hotel, storage space was limited. There weren’t enough drawers or hangers for a family of three staying multiple days. My husband ended up living out of his suitcase, while my daughter and I shared a few small drawers. Adding a dresser (for example, under the octopus hat rack) would really help. Second, the food was a bit hit or miss. I’m not a food snob and have a simple palate, but some dishes lacked flavor: the sesame chicken, Mongolian beef, nachos, and chicken parm meal (not sandwich) were all underwhelming. That said, the pizza was consistently delicious, the pre-made sandwiches were surprisingly fresh and tasty, and the chocolate croissant was amazing! Also we had a pool-view room and noise was never an issue! Overall, we had a fantastic time and would absolutely stay here again. The experience also inspired us to try other Disney resorts. We’re already excited to plan our next trip!

The decorations at the hotel were wonderful. The rooms were very cute. On the day we checked in, we left our luggage with the bellman then went to a park. When I went to my room that night, my luggage was waiting for me. Everything about the hotel was wonderful with one exception. My only complaint is the distance from the lobby. We were in building 8. After a long day at the parks, the last thing I wanted was that long walk back to my room. And to add insult to injury, if I wanted to fill my soda cup I had to walk back to the lobby to get a soda. There is a soda fountain at the main pool near the hotel. Why not add one to the pool at the far end of the resort? I think Disney should seriously consider adding a trolley to the resort. It could run back an forth every 15 minutes or so, carrying guests from the lobby to the far end of the resort. Even my 9 year old granddaughter said, "The rooms are cute; but they aren't worth the walk!" That should tell you something! If adding a trolley isn't a possibility, then how about having the busses run through the parking lots to the far end of the resort? It could simply loop around after making a drop off at the main stop. That would make those rooms a lot more appealing. To be fair, my daughter said when she booked the rooms she knew they were the farthest rooms from the lobby; however, she had no concept of the distance we would have to walk every day. In case you've never actually measured it, she did. It's .75 miles round trip. That's a long walk; especially after a day at the park. Consider this. You get off the bus, or skyliner then walk back to your room to grab your soda cups (no we didn't want to drag them with us all day when they can't be used in the parks), then walk back to the lobby to fill them, then back to your room. That excursion has just added almost a mile to your day. That's after walking through the park all day. On the note of soda cups, why can't they be used in the parks? I'd be willing to pay for a cup if it could be used for the duration of our trip in all of the parks as well as the hotel. We did get a meal plan so we were able to get a soda with our meals, but not snacks. As for the meal plan, I highly recommend one! We had the quick service plan and it was wonderful. It covered plenty of food for our group. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it included alcohol with a meal (not a snack) for those over 21. While I didn't always take advantage of it and often had a soda, it was nice to have it as an option. When visiting the parks, I rented a scooter. I'm 67 with bad knees and a bad back. I'm certainly able to walk, but the scooter made the days much easier to get through. I felt the rental price was fair and the cast members were always very kind and accommodating.
