  This is our third stay at Animal Kingdom Lodge, but our first in Kidani Village. The recently renovated room felt brighter and very inviting. The staff was spectacular and you can’t beat the views. No two walks around the resort are ever the same.

  This is the Disney Vacation Club resort side (Kidani Village) of Animal Kingdom Lodge resort. The main/public facility is Jambo House. Staff are friendly and attentive. Quickly provided additional bedding request. Responded within 15 minutes to a report of issues with machines in on-site laundry room. Valet staff are attentive and quick. The "savanna" view staff who share their knowledge of the animals and Disney's conservation efforts are as engaging as you want to be with them. The resort viewing area offers glimpses of giraffes, zebras, ankle cattle, antelope, ostrich (you can sometimes see where they lay their eggs)), various types of cranes, pelicans and flamingos. We loved seeing the Grey Crowned cranes as they swaggered around spreading their large wings. One of them decided a small tree branch was a serious threat and attacked it with its feet repeatedly for almost 5 minutes. Animal staffer Mogao was very friendly and outgoing. She spoke with us and shared her knowledge and love of the animals for about 15 minutes while we watched the giraffes move around in search of an afternoon snack. It was really fun to glimpse their personalities. The eldest (Stephanie) does not appreciate the hijinx and 'rowdy' (for a giraffe) behavior of the younglings and eventually made her way off to a far corner of the grounds. We got to watch and laugh as one of the other adults teased the younglings by reaching up to eat moss and leaves from the trees too high for them to get. If you love animals and are considering a deluxe resort Animal Kingdom Lodge is amazing.

  My favorite of the DVC resorts. It's an experience like no other - and I mean that in all the best ways. Our family of 5 can not wait to return!

  This was my first time staying at Animal kingdom lodge kidani village . I come down to Disney every year and like to try different resorts . This was a one and done for us . I was disappointed I requested to be next to the elevator and lobby as my request . Disney even ask if you are arriving earlier than 4 pm check in time to make sure rooms will be available. We arrived around 2:30 and our room was not ready till almost 5 ! They also put us in the most far room not even near the elevators . Transportation was a turn off here especially after long park days and only having buses . We had to use Lyft or Minnie van most of the time . Breakfast at sana was great but good luck trying to get a dinner reservation. Lastly I was surprised we don’t get room service all week just our trash taken out . No more coming back to the rooms with fresh towels or beds made unless requested daily. For the price point don’t recommend

  We had a few minor issues that were addressed promptly. There was also an issue with the kitchen sink backing up. Maintenance came promptly on Wed and used a plunger for temporary fix. He said someone would be there Thursday to fix it properly. We checked out Friday morning and no one had been there yet. We loved the pool, bread service at Sanaa, and room location.
