I had a negative experience during my stay. The scheduled day we were supposed to get house keeping our room was never cleaned. We arrived around 5/6 pm to the room and immediately called guest services. We were told it was too late for someone to clean our room but someone would come to empty our trash. They also called back and told us they did not clean our room cause our do not disturb sign was on the door. This was not true, it was not on the door. The rep also confirmed that we would be added to the cleaning schedule for the following day. The next day we again arrived back to the room after a long day at Disney. Our room again was not clean. I then went to the front desk to talk to the manager l. It was about 7pm at this point the manager said we were still on the schedule for cleaning and we would be next to move up

We stayed in the Toy Story area! AMAZING!! My 2 year old was LOVING IT!!!! a few things about the rooms. They are small ( but who cares?? Because you’re spending 10% inside! The fridge isn’t cold enough to keep food, so we just kept our drinks! We took night walk around to see all the cool others hotels!! Staff is amazing! Will stay again!

This was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had and it was on property! We are annual pass holders but this was our first time staying on property. We were so excited to arrive! When we got there, it was a scorching hot day. We went inside the room to find that the room itself was very hot. Almost 80 degrees. This was around 8:30am, so we figured we’d give it a couple of hours to let the room cool down. As other people have mentioned, the rooms are small…very small for 4 people….even smaller seeming when the temperature in the room just keeps going up. Around 10:30 we reached out to the front desk and asked if they could check the thermostat. They sent a maintenance man up to check it and he informed us that the blower was not working and that the system would need a new one. He said the tech would be there to resolve the issue by 11:30. At around noon, we decided to head to the park to get out of the hot room. Before we did so, we checked if the technician was able to fix the issue and a lady at the front desk said it seemed the issue had been resolved. We headed to the park to give the room time to come down in temp. We were at the park for 9 hours! When we got back to the room, the temp had only come down 3 degrees, two of which it immediately gained again within 2 minutes of us being in the room. I called the front desk and another lady informed me that the issue had only been fixed an hour before we returned from the park. I get it, things happen. But why not send a text or quick phone call asking if we’d like to switch rooms so that we didn’t have to go from being in the heat outside to in the heat inside! I asked to speak to a manager because the First Lady seemed annoyed. They had Michael call me back and he wasn’t any better than the lady I spoke to previously. I didn’t mention we also had a situation in the cafeteria that first day with a worker. We ordered some chili cheese hot dogs and they were at the end of their container for cheese, so they only put cheese on a tiny part of the hot dog. I politely asked for some more and the worker said, “you’ll have to wait if you want more cheese on it because this just finished” so I said sure, no problem. She then let out a long sigh, sucked her teeth and said I guess I’ll have to go get it then.” So when I spoke with manager Michael I let him know about the thermostat and the cafeteria issue and his response was “ sorry if you’ve had some encounters that haven’t been perfect .” Perfect?! Wanting air conditioning to work in a hotel room on Disney property in the summertime isn’t expecting perfection. It’s expecting the bare minimum. From the couple of hours we were there, the floor of the hotel room got my daughter’s socks super dirty, so I don’t know how well the floor was cleaned. Michael offered to change our room but the other room was more inconveniently located and honestly with 2 kids at that time of night, we were just done. I know this is a “value” hotel but for the same price you can get a way bigger room within 2-3 mins of property. This was such a bad first experience that we are canceling our July trip for art of animation. It’s such a shame that the workers we encountered at this hotel didn’t care about customer service the way the park workers do.

We always love staying at Disney. We have been to many of their resorts. This was our first time at All-Star Movies and we really enjoyed our stay (it was our favorite out of all the All-Stars). Rooms are always very clean and the whole place is very safe and family friendly. Kids love the huge statues of Toy Story and 101 Dalmations; lots of photo opportunities. Rooms have one bed that is a Murphy bed. In the daytime it is a table to eat at and bed at night. Rooms are identical to other All-Star layouts. There is not a fridge, it is a drink cooler. A sign says it is not for keeping food cool. If you need a fridge, either keep ice in it or bring/have delivered a Styrofoam cooler. Lots of parking, wonderfully cute pool, another quiet pool, lots of photo opportunities, nightly movie, daytime pool activities, and a cafeteria at the resort for yummy food. Would highly recommend and we will be back!

Our visit to Disney's All-Star Movies was great! We had a wonderful experience. The pools were clean and fun, they offered games and music which was entertaining to my daughter. The food court was a great option and was open when we needed a quick bite or pick me up! There are a few reasons I didn't love it which is why I gave it 4 stars. The resort is far away from the parks, it is a value resort after all, but it felt like the buses for this resort were fewer than any other value resort. Our rooms were clean, cute, and fun but the joining room door seemed to carry a lot of sound from our neighboring room, who we were not traveling with, think hearing their whole conversations. It felt weird so we kept white noise on most of the time we were in our room. The only other draw back was the smell outside our room, not sure if it was the landscaping, some sort of animal, or the damp weather conditions, but it was rather stinky and there was no garbage in sight.
