We just returned from Disney World after doing a split stay at All Star Movies (5 nights) and then the Contemporary Resort (2 nights). We agreed that this hotel was perfectly adequate and we would stay here again to be in the Disney "bubble". It was nice to be able to park for free at all of the Disney World theme parks, as well as utilize early entry, earlier access to booking lightning lanes, and utilizing the dining plan on property. The lobby, food court, and pool areas were always very clean. Landscaping was beautiful as well. My kids also enjoyed having a playground on property. We have never stayed at a Value Resort before so we weren't sure how it would go. My kids really enjoyed the larger-than-life theming at the resort. The Cast Members at the front desk were incredible. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and celebrated. Upon arrival, our toilet had some dried blood on the front base of the toilet. I always pack bleach spray and do a once over anyway so I just cleaned it myself and never reported it. Then housekeeping didn't come on our scheduled day. The front desk was quick to fix it for us and from then on the "Mousekeeping" went above and beyond, doing cute things with our kids stuffed animals. A nice touch! The pools were nice and we did utilize them. We prefer the Mighty Ducks pool, as it was much quieter than the Fantasia pool. We also used the laundry rooms...the Fantasia pool laundry room was pretty gross feeling, always crowded, and the machines were very dirty. The Mighty Ducks laundry room was much cleaner and quieter. The food court was the biggest letdown of our stay. We have three in our party with a gluten allergy and we were constantly given different information and the options were pretty limited compared to some other resorts on property. Thankfully, despite a few hiccups, we ate safely, for which we are always so grateful. There was no ice in the ice machine most days we were there, unfortunately. That was tough considering we were in 90+ degree weather. I did report it but each day we came back the ice machines were still empty. Maybe we just caught it at a bad time? Now the rooms are where you really feel the "value" experience. They are SMALL and it is motel-style so your only window opens up to people walking by and looking into your room. Of course, I do think they absolutely did a great job of utilizing the room they had to work with. We liked having the murphy bed pushed up during the day so our kids could play/color/eat at the table and they did have plenty of drawers and cubbies for our luggage. Our conclusion is that we would stay again to save money and probably always do a split stay whenever we can. Start with All Star Movies and hit the parks hard, then end our trip with a few days at a deluxe resort where we can enjoy the room and amenities as we ease out of our trip. I would recommend this resort, but with a caution that it is not the kind of resort you go to if you're looking to spend a lot of time there relaxing. This is a resort for when you want to focus most of your time at the parks!

ALL STAR RESORTS
If I could give a 0 I would! BEWARE! This resort maybe disney but there are no cameras! We parked our new vehicle in the parking lot so we could shuttle into the disney parks. During our stay our vehicle was hit. A good samaritan reported seeing our vehicle get hit and said the other vehicle took off. The Security people lied to us and said that the offenders reported it and we needed to file a claim so we could match the claims with the Florida police. After all is said and done…. No Claim! There is not ONE CAMERA IN THE PARKING LOT! The security department laughed at us and said well at least we were not driving! We spent a lot of money on this vacation. Thought we were safe and secure by disney standards and turns out Beware……. If an incident was to happen this resort is not safe! They themselves stated NO CAMERAS! They did offer free 11.00 dollar breakfast for our inconvenience! Horrible! Buyer beware! This resort is dangerous by today’s standards! It may of only been a vehicle but what if a child had been hit in the parking lot? What if someone with an angst decided to shoot up the place? Our last day of our vacation ruined! Senior citizens with a 1000 dollar deductible. It’s the security bold face lying to us! We don’t need to be pacified until check out but told the truth they don’t care!

We had a standard room for 4 people. Once you put the murphy bed down, it is tight in that room. My husband and I hit our knee on the corner of the Murphy bed every time we walked by. Once you get 4 peoples luggage in there, there is no room.
We traveled with my parents and I made the reservations with my app. We had so many issues with our app working to unlock both rooms. I had to call guest service when we arrived, they came and let me in the room. He told me I have to go up to the guest service building and get cards since my app wouldn't work to unlock. Then we had issues with my dads name not being on anything in the app. But, he received something at my house on the mail from Disney. I asked guest service if this would be an issue for the parks and they said no it wouldn't be. Guess what? It was an issue when we got to the first park.
I really felt no one knew what was going on.
The location for this hotel is fine and i appreciate the security aspect. However, they really do not make it easy to get in and out of there. Just to get to a Walgreens is a giant pain! I probably would not stay at a Disney hotel again

The rooms are small, very dorm like for the price.
Our shampoo and conditioner were near empty when we checked in and were not filled throughout our stay.
The dat of check out, I was awoken by housekeeping POUNDING on my door. I rushed out shortly after, not checking my entire room for left items.
Turns out, my daughter had started to put some things in drawers.
I noticed our items had been left behind the next day and called the resort as well as filed a lost and found ticket.
I was given the run around and told my items weren’t turned in.
I interrupted my family’s trip to visit the resort and ask the manager in person to check with housekeeping. Who was assigned to our building and can you ask them if they turned the items in, tossed them out, etc?
Should be simple. Manager refused and told me to file a report with security. The security guard wrote down my birth date?? Told me there are no cameras on property, untrue.
My items have not been recovered. While they were not expensive, they belonged to my daughter and we are both very saddened by there loss and the response from Disney.

The rooms are tiny so if you have more than two people staying in one room, good luck. We checked in at 11am and were told out rooms were not ready which was expected since check in isn't until 3pm. We hung out by the pool, ate, and just wondered around for a while. By 6pm we still did not have a room. This was less than ideal since we had been up since 3am traveling with three young kids and were exhausted. We went up to the front desk and they had to move things around and finally got us a room. A few days in we woke up to bugs all over the bathroom and towels and when I told the front desk they were rude, acted like I was a nuisance and then said there's nothing they can do other than call an exterminator when we check out. They said they see those bugs all the time so apparently you should just expect to be sleeping with these bugs if you stay here. The staff at the cafe area were hit or miss. Some were great and others acted like they couldn't believe we had the audacity to be asking them for anything. I stayed here as a child and had great memories which is why I decided to stay here when bringing my kids for the first time. Unfortunately the magic of this resort no longer seems to exist. I will not be coming back to this resort ever again after this experience.
