We relaxed, went swimming, took the boat over to the campground, watched the parade of boats and the fireworks from the comfortable chairs by geyser point went to dinner at whispering canyon, lunch at roaring forks and all around had an amazing vacation.
I had two big disappointments with this resort. First, the AC fan would never shut off. I went to the front desk and asked them to let me know the issue. I got back for the day and there was nothing.....no message, no note. The next morning I went back to the front desk and asked for a status (same person by the way). I was read a message that said the AC unit fan could not be shut off and despite the thermostat being "OFF", there was nothing they could do except to permanently shut it off - and it could not be turned back on - at least by me. The constant running of the fan was not only annoying, but very drying to the sinuses. The second issue was that after I had made my reservation and a week before arrival, I was told the ferry from the resort to the Magic Kingdom was not operating due to maintenance of the dock. I was counting on the ferry as a nice way to get to the park. Disney gave me no option to change my reservation. So stuck I was with the bus or to drive. This is the third time I've stayed here, but first time at the Boulder Creek Resort. Overall it was nice and what I expected. I also had dinner at the Geyser Grill which I've enjoyed during each stay here.

We loved staying at Wilderness Lodge. Unfortunately, we had to take buses instead of the boat to Magic Kingdom because the boats were being refurbished. All of the staff at the hotel were fabulous and the hotel was peaceful and quiet after our busy days at the parks. Everything was very clean and inviting.

Boulder ridge villa's is our favorite Disney resort!
proximity to parks and the resort itself are great
Always love the view when you walk into the lobby
The Boulder Ridge building is great…. Nice and quiet!!!
The dining options are not so great,,, breakfast at Whispering Canyons is a skip for me going forward…. can’t even get a ham and cheese omelette……. Plenty of better breakfast options available on the property.
