  I am honestly so disappointed with our stay at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. Considering how much we paid for this vacation, I expected a much higher level of service and overall experience. Unfortunately, this was one of the most underwhelming resort stays I've ever had. The resort itself does not feel particularly warm or welcoming, and several interactions with staff, especially at the pool, were unpleasant. There seemed to be inconsistencies in how rules were enforced, with some guests being held to standards that others were not. The food throughout our stay was disappointing, and to make matters worse, our grocery delivery was mistakenly taken to another guest at the resort. Issues like this should not happen at a deluxe Disney property. Transportation was another major frustration. For the amount guests pay to stay here, nothing felt convenient. The buses always stopped at Fort Wilderness before arriving at the resort, making travel to and from the parks longer and more frustrating than expected. Overall, I regret choosing this resort. Looking back, I wish we had stayed off-site, purchased park tickets separately, and avoided the expensive vacation package altogether. To add to our frustration, I could not get any help with the tickets I had purchased for the Halloween event knowing the family was not up for it and we could have avoided the incident with my mother passing out in which we've received little to no meaningful assistance regarding that situation. This entire experience has been a disappointment from start to finish. For a resort marketed as a deluxe Disney destination, the service, convenience, and overall value simply did not meet expectations.

  Staying at the lodge was the best vacation experience my family has ever had! We were in a 1 bedroom villa at Boulder Ridge. We felt close to all the amenities, even though we were still located in Boulder Ridge instead of Copper Creek! The room was perfect for our family. Housekeeping services did an amazing job with daily cleaning. The room was spacious for us and our 2 kids, and loved having the kitchen, washer and dryer, and separate bedroom with king sized bed for my husband and I! The staff at the lodge were absolutely AMAZING! So welcoming and inviting. They helped solve every issue we had and answered every question with a smile! Very informative! Chip met us in the lobby on our check-in day and grabbed by 3-year old by the hand (with permission) and showed him all around the lobby, which we enjoyed so much! Quick service dining was delicious and convenient! The pool and splash pad were wonderful. Such a peaceful place to be. The lifeguard staff were all so kind and attentive! We have already booked our stay at the lodge for next year, as we now consider this our home resort!

  Easily one of the most beautiful resorts in the bubble, with easy transportation options. The service we had was great, from bell services, check in, lifeguards and the dining staff. It's very low key for a Magic Kingdom resort, which helps wind you down from a day in the parks. We've stayed here several times now, and it holds up.

  I admit to being a bit apprehensive prior to the start of our trip as this has been a rough year for the Wilderness Lodge and Boulder Ridge’s infrastructure (with AC and hot water outages respectively earlier in the summer). Happily, there were no such difficulties during our stay. My party had a marvelous time! The service was excellent, and the theming and decor are among the best on the property. I’d love to stay here again!
