1 of the best rides at Disney World, and it's also very fast and fun. Yes, the queues are very long but there's so much to look at whilst you wait. Also, it's best to ride this at night during a parade when nobody is there

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Rebuilt, Refreshed, and Still the Wildest Ride in the Wilderness!
Just snapped the attached photo, while waiting in line! After being closed for that massive top-to-bottom refurbishment, Big Thunder is officially back—and the Disney Imagineers didn't lose an ounce of their classic humor. You have to love a queue that gives you literal instructions on "How to Avoid Loss of Fingers, Life and Job" while you wait. (Personal favorite rule from the sign: "IF LIT FUSE BY ACCIDENT RUN AWAY AND DON'T COME BACK." Sticking to that advice for the rest of the day!)
Aside from the hilarious updated prop details in the queue, the ride itself has never looked or felt better. The biggest shock? How incredibly smooth the coaster is now. They completely replaced the track, so you still get all the wild, runaway-train banking and sudden drops, but without the intense, bone-rattling roughness of the old rail. It feels absolutely buttery.
They also knocked it out of the park with the updated special effects. The dynamite scene on the lift hill feels more immersive than ever, the audio is crisp, and seeing all the classic animatronics working perfectly makes it feel like opening day all over again.
Pro-Tip: Take a close look at the signs like the one in throughout the queue. Disney tucked a ton of clever easter eggs and gags into the mining company's "safety regulations" that make the wait fly by.
Whether you’ve ridden it a hundred times or are bringing a little one along for their first train heist, the newly refurbished Big Thunder is an absolute triumph. Yee-haw! 🚂🌵💥

Still one of the best rides at Magic Kingdom, recently reopened after refurbishment, much better than 7 dwarves in my opinion!

Didn’t expect it, but actually having a great time with my kids. Screaming from the bag road, it was really a fun!! Buy a fast pass in advance!

Recommend Fast Passes and check for yourself the wait ✋️ times as the application (app.) Stated there wasn't a "Fast Pass" accepted & there in fact was a Fast pass line. It was a wonderful glitch as we got right in line and some didn't need the pass. The staff was super nice & efficient despite the wait times being off, working in customers favor.
