  The room still had previous visitors clothes in washer and dryer, everything except the table tops and the mirrors was still dirty. Dishwasher did not work. Tub jets were filthy. The cleanest things on the grounds are the grills at the pool behind 5100 because they clean them faithfully and thoroughly every day. We watched. Called the office to have the 3rd bedroom unlocked and they didn’t unlock it until the next day after I called again. Though WE CALLED them to come, office said the maintenance would not ring doorbell nor call due to the DND sign on the door AFTER 9pm. Overall was a decent stay. Don’t plan to get any sleep because of other visitors loud music thumping through the floor and walls. The water park is great and has lifeguards. Owners get in at 10am and closes at 6. Regular pools open 8am-10pm, no lifeguard though. We went to karaoke and won’t top prize in bingo. The kids rode the train that goes around the property, visited the arcade, golf, paddle boats, candy/icecream shop. They pull you in to a timeshare meeting as soon as you check in. Even if you are an owner.

  Me & my family stood here for a week. The property is gorgeous they have alot to do that is kid friendly. The one thing that aggravated us was that not once not twice but 3 different times we had to go to front desk and asked for extra blankets pillows and towels. They brought everything the second to last day. We didnt need it anymore everyone had left. The ppl who work there dont want to be there. Other wise the villa was perfect clean and spacious. There phone number doesnt work if u try calling from the room they want u to walk or drive over everytime u need something. Which is Horrible. I say 5 out of 10. Make sure you go early to water park check weather first.

  DO NOT BOOK HERE! Worst resort experience I’ve ever had. I paid nearly $600 for a room at what is advertised as a resort because I expected the amenities to be part of the experience. Instead, my family and I showed up to the water park only to find out we’d have to pay an additional $120 per day just for admission. That’s outrageous. What’s the point of paying resort prices if the main attractions cost extra? This should be made abundantly clear before guests book. Needless to say, our planned 5-day vacation here turned into one day. We requested a refund and immediately booked at Orange Lake instead, where we know exactly what we’re getting for our money. This was an incredibly disappointing experience, and I will never stay at Westgate again. Save yourself the frustration and book somewhere that doesn’t nickel-and-dime its guests after they’ve already paid hundreds of dollars to stay there.

  I booked my stay and requested in advance to be placed in a newly renovated room. I was assured by the front desk that I would receive one, but when we arrived, we were placed in an older outdated room with the brown cabinets instead. My fiancé and l knew the room we were given was not one of the renovated rooms as promised. The newly renovated rooms has white cabinets. We decided to bring family this time so they could experience the resort, but we were very disappointed. We specifically planned ahead to avoid this issue, yet our request was not honored. Another major disappointment was how the resort handled the weather. If there is thunder, everything closes—which is understandable for safety. However, even after the storm and thunder stop early, the pools, water slides, and other outdoor amenities remain closed for the rest of the day with locks on the basketball courts instead of reopening when it’s safe. We paid to enjoy those amenities, and not being able to use them made the trip feel like a waste of money. Overall, we were disappointed that our room request was not honored and that we were unable to enjoy the resort amenities we paid for.

  My family and I recently stayed at Westgate Vacation Villas in Kissimmee, FL. The room that we stayed in was supposedly just updated. More like patched up to me. There were also dried blood on the laundry room door and the air did not work. They came and wiped the door down and attempted to fix the air. Yet the air still did not work. We had to go to Walmart and buy a box fan. Which we were supposed to get reimbursed for and never did. I have previously stayed with them back in 2023 and did a timeshare tour. So this time around I didn’t have to do a tour. I was told that I would just have to simply give them a yes or no, if I would like to purchase. That was not the case. I told them that I didn’t want to do any thing on June 19 ( which was my birthday). They scheduled me for June 19 to meet up with them. I was told that it wouldn’t take no more than 30 minutes. That was a lie. It took longer this time around then my initial visit when I had to do a tour. They completely disregarded my time. I didn’t get to do what I wanted to do the day of my birthday because they did not value my time. Me and my husband went up there with the mindset of purchasing, but they played with our time. I said all of that to say this. Please value everyone times. That is something we can not get back. I brought my family up there with me so that they could see what me and their dad was going to purchase. They were a little upset that we didn’t go through with the purchase. But, they understood where I was coming from when I told them that you have to teach people to value your time. Westgate, clean up your properties and respect everyone’s time!
