I'll start off by saying me and my family normally stay at The Grove Resort which we absolutely LOVE but we wanted to give another resort a chance so we decided to try Westgate Town Center Resort which instead we should've stuck to what we know our room was infested with roaches which we noticed maybe 20 mins after getting in the room we contacted the front they offered to change the room we switched which was a lot considering we had two kids with us it was late and pouring down raining and we had to load back up the car drive to the main building and then to the building we were going switching to the next room was absolutely beautiful but the rooms don't have actual covers they have throw blankets between two sheets, night one we gave the throw blanket to the kids because it was so late next day we asked for more to be sent to the room because we were cold it took over three hours and I had to call again and when we got them the blankets were thrown into the bag as if someone just used them and they needed to be clean and after taking them out the trash bag they were dirty and has cat or dog fur all over it we called them and let them know someone came and took the dirty blankets and gave us folded clean ones on top of that the WiFi in room kept going on I had to call multiple times and you can't use your hotspot on your phone for internet you have to use their internet so throughout out stay from the 8-13th we barely had WiFi in our room I was told a tech was going to come out because it kept disconnecting from the main server according to IT but that never happened. The resort also charges for everything the water park is a extra 25 dollars per person even if your staying, housekeeping doesn't come unless your saying extended time I personally won't be back very disappointing

I did a staycation per usual and this time I was going to a concert in Kissimmee at Island H20 and cooking for 4th July weekend and having family visit. I chose this location because it had the amenities as usual I was looking for and was literally 5min from my destination, and nit to mention the price for the stay was reasonable. I stay at Westgate properties often and am very familiar with the units. Again I wasnt disappointed although this location was especially busy and full of activities due to the close proximity to Disney. It was a great stay I enjoyed their fireworks display from my room floor as well as any other fireworks in the area. Definitely a good place for families, especially with children. With the arcade room, mini golf, bowling, theater, water park and other activities there is no need to leave the property and can be a savings as opposed to going to the parks daily. Now the only cons I have (and it wouldnt be a good review if I were not honest) Its time to upgrade the furniture, and electronics and technology. I have lived in Orlando for 20+ years and this is the same brown sofas that can be found in every Westgate property here. The leather is cracking. Not a deal breaker but its time to update. Parking is plentiful yes, but not always at your building. There should always be enough space for a person in building A to park and not jave to park in an overflow and be shuttle or walk. After a long day at the parks I would like to walk to my building and get to my bed ASAP and not have another walk or wait for a ride to shuttle me. Other than those things, which again are not deal breakers just food for thought, I would definitely stay again.

If I could give zero stars, I would. We booked this resort through one of Westgate’s promotional offer. We agreed to attend the advertised 90-minute timeshare presentation in exchange for the discounted stay. The water park tickets were included, but honestly they weren’t the main incentive. Instead of 90 minutes, we were kept for nearly 4 hours despite repeatedly saying no. Our two young children, who have special needs, had to sit through the entire presentation with us. We explained multiple times that we needed to leave, but we continued to be passed from person to person. By the time we finally got out around 3 p.m., storms had rolled in, and once the weather cleared, the water park only had about an hour left before closing. We essentially lost an entire day of our vacation. I will say our sales guide was genuinely kind and was the only bright spot of the experience. The rest of the customer service was extremely disappointing. Around 10 p.m., one of our children had an accident, so we requested clean sheets so our kids would have somewhere to sleep. It took over five hours for them to arrive. By then, we had already stripped the bed, washed the dirty sheets ourselves, dried them, and remade the bed. I assumed it was a misunderstanding until the exact same thing happened later when we requested laundry detergent. Even simple questions resulted in us being sent from one department to another because no one seemed to know the answers. The resort itself is clean, the grounds are nice, and the bed was comfortable. However, we dealt with loud neighbors until around 2:30-3:00 a.m. the first two nights and a barking dog for much of our last night. The pull-out couch was also extremely uncomfortable. I’ve stayed at timeshares before, and I’m not against the concept. In fact, the presentation itself was convincing. But customer service is what keeps families coming back, and this was some of the worst we’ve experienced. We weren’t asking for anything unreasonable—just for Westgate to honor the terms of the promotion and treat our family with respect. Unfortunately, we left feeling taken advantage of, and I can’t recommend Westgate based on our experience.

I had much higher expectations for Westgate Town Center Resort, but unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I’ve had. We stayed from Sunday evening until Wednesday morning (checking out at 10:00 a.m.), and not once did housekeeping come to service our room or make our beds. At no point during check-in or our stay was anyone clear that we had to request housekeeping. I understand that some resorts operate differently than traditional hotels, and I’m completely understanding if guests need to request service—but that should be communicated upfront. Guests shouldn’t have to figure it out on their own. By Tuesday morning around 11:00 a.m., I finally called housekeeping to request clean towels, have the trash removed, and have our beds made. Instead of bringing the towels to us, housekeeping left the clean towels and toiletries on the ground in front of our hotel room door. It honestly felt disrespectful. Then, after requesting the beds be made that morning, housekeeping didn’t show up until exactly 7:24 p.m.—when we were already back in the room for the night and done with our day. When I said no because it was too late, the employee appeared frustrated and asked me again in Spanish if I wanted the beds made, even though I had already answered in English. Cleanliness was another major issue. We arrived around 4:00 p.m. with clean feet, but by around 9:00 p.m., after simply walking around the room, the bottoms of our feet were black from how dirty the floors were. I also found mold in the bathtub and noticeable dirt and marks throughout the room. I have photos of the mold and dirty floors. To make matters worse, there were guests openly smoking marijuana in front of the building next to their car without any concern. That created an uncomfortable environment and wasn’t what I expected from a family resort. Overall, I left feeling like I was staying in an apartment complex rather than a resort. I understand every property has different housekeeping policies, but guests should be informed of those policies, and basic cleanliness and customer service should never be compromised. I had high hopes for Westgate Town Center Resort, but this stay was a huge disappointment. I won’t be returning, and I can’t recommend it based on my experience. Me and my fiancé Brianna Valle did not enjoy our stay

We stayed at Westgate Town Center Resort in Orlando, Florida, from April 14–19, 2026. Overall, the resort itself was very enjoyable. The front desk staff, housekeeping, customer service, accommodations, amenities, and overall property were excellent, and we had a great stay. Unfortunately, our experience with the Hospitality Desk significantly detracted from an otherwise positive visit. During our stay, we received text messages from the Hospitality Department inviting us to pick up a welcome packet and gifts. The messages stated that these items could be picked up between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM and did not mention any eligibility requirements or conditions. Due to prior plans, we were unable to visit the Hospitality Desk until Friday, April 17, 2026, at around 11:00 AM. When we arrived, we also asked whether it would be possible to take a tour of the resort. At that point, we were informed for the first time that the welcome gifts and tour were connected to a sales presentation intended for potential villa purchasers. Had this been clearly disclosed in the original messages, it would have avoided confusion and unnecessary inconvenience. What concerned me most, however, was how my parents were treated by a male staff member working at the Hospitality Desk around 11:00 AM on April 17, 2026. My mother speaks and understands English well, and while my father is not fluent in spoken English, he can understand much of the language. The male staff member told my parents they were not eligible for the tour because he believed they were not sufficiently fluent in English. He explained that because the tour involved presenting and selling villas, every participant was required to be fluent in English. My mother demonstrated that she could communicate effectively in English and offered to translate for my father if necessary. However, the staff member repeatedly insisted that every individual participant must be fluent in English and that she would not be permitted to translate for him. Despite our efforts to clarify the situation, he continued to deny their participation and treated them dismissively and rudely. He even told my parents that they should not consider taking the tour or purchasing a villa if they were unable to speak and understand English fluently. Afterward, I spoke with a manager regarding the incident. The manager informed me that if one spouse is fluent in English, they should, in fact, be allowed to translate for the other during the tour. This directly contradicted what the Hospitality Desk staff member had told my parents. While I appreciated the clarification, I was disappointed that the manager appeared more focused on ending the conversation than addressing the underlying issue. No meaningful explanation was provided for the conflicting information, nor was any indication given that steps would be taken to prevent similar situations involving guests with limited English proficiency from occurring in the future. I want to emphasize that our concerns are not about being denied a sales tour. Rather, they are about the manner in which my parents were treated and what appeared to be discrimination based on their English proficiency. In a destination that welcomes visitors from around the world, guests should be treated with respect and consistency regardless of their native language. The resort itself deserves high marks, but the Hospitality Department's handling of this situation was disappointing and left a lasting negative impression on an otherwise enjoyable stay.
