Excellent good and of course, the cake was awesome! Great service - make a reservation in the bar area for a quiet spot.

I came to Disney's Boardwalk specifically for the ice cream. One location was a 2.5hr wait so we went next door for our sweet treat 😋

It was a cute area! I took one star off because of the lack of restrooms available which is not ideal for those with little ones. Overall it was a nice, quiet area.

Our family recently stayed at the Boardwalk Inn, a resort we have frequented several times before. In trips past, we used DVC points to book in the Villas. What differentiated this recent visit from those past trips is that we did not go the DVC route and instead stayed in a traditional room. While our specific room had a unique layout due to its positioning in the building, it was such a great space! We stayed in room 3234, a double queen room with a pool view of one of the smaller resort pools. Although our balcony felt smaller than others, our room as a whole felt larger. The room came with a fridge, safe, hairdryer, iron, body lotion, soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, a shower cap, and a small toiletry kit (think qtips and nail file). In addition to the two beds, there was a chair, tv, dresser, closet, tub/shower combo, and dual vanity sinks with ample storage space. The resort itself is ranked as one of our favorites due primarily to its location on property. The resort is within walking distance of two parks, but can also reach those same two parks via boat transport. You are also walking distance from a skyliner stop, making several other resorts accessible as well. Additionally, because it is a Deluxe resort, this means both early entry park hours, and on certain days, an extra 2 hours of time in certain parks. During our trip, Epcot was open an extra 2 hours on Monday and magic kingdom on Wednesday. The boardwalk itself is full of delicious food options that span across all meal types (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and desserts). Additionally, you are SO close to several other resorts and their dining options as well. Think beach club, yacht club, swan and dolphin and swan reserve. Speaking of the swan and dolphin area, you are also within walking distance of Fantasia Gardens, one of the two mini golf locations on Disney property. The pools on property are great. We never had an issue finding chairs for our family. The main pool has a bar/restaurant while the smaller pools have vending machines and game rooms attached. While the main pool offers food and drink, a slide, and poolside games, the smaller pools offer a more relaxed vibe. The smaller pool by our room also offered us a great view of the Epcot fireworks show. Boardwalk continues to be one of our favorite Disney resort properties. We would gladly stay here again!
