  Among our favorite on-property resorts to stay. The entire theming, location, and service regularly exceptional. Noticing the resort is not as maintained as expected. Guests are leaving trash where ever they feel rather than placing it in a trash bin, making it more challenging for Cast Members to keep up, especially since there are less of them since 2020. Also, the breakfast at Boma was just mid this time. The food was good, yet now as many offerings as in past years, or so it seemed.

  This is my absolute favorite Disney resort! We stay here every other trip. This resort has the best food on property. Even the quick service is better here. We love how relaxing it is just to watch the animals with a cup of coffee in the morning. Always upgrade your room to safari view here!

  Great resort with friendly cast members. The only complaint I would have is that housekeeping did not take care of our room as I would expect. There were at least 5 days that they did not make beds, did not take the used towels in the pile on the floor, did not leave new towels, did not refresh the supply of plates and plasticware that was used. I had to call to the front desk to receive towels. I did let them know housekeeping did not take care of our room. The only task that was done daily was to empty the garbage.

  This was one of the last Disney resorts we have stayed at and definitely should not have waited to do so. There’s such a beautiful, relaxing vibe throughout the property, with the peaceful savannah and wonderful dining options. Jiko, even the bar there, are not to be missed and the pool was unexpectedly great. The resort does feel further away but it may partially be because of the exotic theming.and the bus service is notably better at this resort.

  We rented three rooms for our children’s families, and unfortunately, we were highly disappointed with our experience. First of all, the hotel felt outdated, not particularly clean, and lacking many of the basic amenities that one would expect from a quality hotel. We are accustomed to staying at top-tier hotels and do not mind paying for a premium experience, as we value comfort, convenience, and high standards of service. This hotel, however, did not meet those expectations. There was no room service, the rooms did not include simple amenities such as shower caps, disposable slippers, or robes, and lunch service was not available at the pool. Additionally, the indoor restaurant did not serve alcoholic beverages, and overall, the layout and navigation throughout the resort felt inconvenient and uncomfortable. Based on this experience, we do not plan to stay at a Disney resort ever again. Perhaps once our second grandchild is older — around three years old — we may reconsider visiting Disney, but we would choose to stay at a property such as a Ritz-Carlton or another luxury hotel outside of the Disney resorts. The disappointing part is that several of our friends — who have younger children and grandchildren — had already warned us about staying at Disney resorts because of the lack of comfort and overall quality of the accommodations. Unfortunately, after experiencing it ourselves, we now understand why Disney resorts seem to have a reputation for mediocre hotel stays rather than truly exceptional hospitality.
