  Great views and access to the theme parks but most things are self-service or you have to phone the Disney reservation team. That said the staff on the resort are lovely.

  Everything was amazing. We had a studio resort view at kidani and still had partial savannah view!!. Beautifully renovated. We did split stay and next night stayed at Jambo house..bell services did all the transport of luggage between sites..Jambo was currently in renovations but no loud noises and minimal disruption..Just curtains..renovations again are looking amazing and we had a wonderful savanna view on the 5th floor. Lots of animals. We did sanna for a nice dinner one evening and it was perfect. As always we loved quick service at Jambo many options and always quick. Pools were refreshing at both kidani and Jambo. Staff always amazing. Just another perfect stay at animal kingdom lodges

  Been staying in DVC resorts since 1996 and honestly used to feel like it was a high end luxury experience until this trip. The room was worst than a motel room and I am upset that I wasted this years points on this resort. It was old and run down plus bathroom was full of mold around the tub. It was a tub with jets and you could see the jets were so caked in moldy itck that if we turned it on the whole tub would have been filled with something that would have made us sick. The sprayer for the shower leaked so bad and was some cheap plastic one too. The kitchen was not clean either, we brought groceries to fix breakfast and pulled out a frying pan that was caked with burnt on food from the past. The dish soap pump didnt work and was locked so had to boil the pan with hand soap to try and remove as much as we could. Ended up using a pot that we cleaned. The dishwasher was a small one and the inside looked old and full of maybe hard water or breakdown of the plastic not sure. Carpet in the place and tile grout was disgusting we never took off our shoes. Gross!!! We also got a savanna view and never saw one animal! So mad I wasted my time on this place, maybe it was a nice place when build but now is broken down and gross. Why would they say this is a DVC resort? So sad but I will not be going back.

  We had a magical time at AKL-Jambo House!! Cast members were amazing, they went above and beyond to make our stay special!! Rooms were spotless and refreshed daily. Savanna room was perfect for viewing animals and sunsets! One of the most memberable vacations ever..

  It’s always magical staying at the AKL. The DVC room upgrades are fantastic and we just enjoyed being in the room itself. The animal viewing was spectacular as well. Big thanks to Lo at the Jiko bar for beautifully crafted cocktails and just being awesome. Also big thanks to Chef Eddie at Jiko for masterful dishes ( that lacquered chicken with the black-eyed pea side was superb). Also thanks to the AKL pastry team for the Jiko Malva Pudding dessert. It was beautiful, told a story, and tasted fantastic. Seriously no notes on everything! This is why the AKL is always our preferred resort 100% of the time.
