This was my family’s first visit to Disney with 2 kids. This resort was absolutely beautiful, the service was top notch, it’s very clean, the cast members were all friendly and extremely knowledgeable from general Disney info to info about the animals and African culture. Seeing so many animals like giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and more is so surreal! It’s an experience that no other resort can bring you. My kids were in amazed every time we saw another animal! We had a savanna view room and that did not disappoint! Again just such a unique experience! Our favorite restaurant here was Boma - so good we ate there twice!! We loved the pog juice and the drums!! All in all, beautiful resort we had an amazing time! Easy to get to the parks via bus - I wish there were another option that is the only drawback to this hotel BUT it was easy to travel via bus.

Las camas es lo mejor del hotel aunque está un poco lejos de los parques; el personal de bufete muy amable y atento

Absolutely — that detail makes the review much more memorable. I worked it in so it feels like one of the highlights of the stay. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My son and I stayed at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge – Jambo House to celebrate his 10th birthday, and the entire experience was absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the resort felt incredibly special. The hotel itself is stunning, the atmosphere is beautiful, and there are so many thoughtful details throughout the property that make it feel like much more than just a hotel stay. One of the most incredible parts of staying at Jambo House was having the animals right there on the property. Being able to see them so close was truly amazing. Every evening, we would spend time watching the animals, and it honestly felt like we had been transported to a completely different world. There is something almost surreal about ending your day at Disney and then coming back to the resort to watch giraffes and other animals just outside. It made the entire experience feel even more magical and unique. What truly made the weekend exceptional, though, was the staff. Everyone went above and beyond to make my son feel celebrated and to make both of us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. He absolutely loved the pool, the resort, and all of the little thoughtful touches that made his birthday weekend feel so special. A very special thank-you to Doug, our waiter, who surprised my son with two little cupcakes and sang Happy Birthday to him. It was such a sweet and thoughtful gesture, and it became one of those moments we will always remember. For the level of service, atmosphere, amenities, and overall experience, we thought the value was wonderful. This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime trip for my son and me, and Jambo House played such a special part in making his 10th birthday something we will never forget. We left with so many incredible memories and would absolutely stay here again. Jambo House is truly a special place, and for us, it was worth every penny. Five stars without hesitation!

Absolutely wonderful place to stay! This resort is very high on my list of the most homey feeling, with such kind & caring cast members. The views are beautiful! We had a DVC room, & it was one of the most comfortable, most clean, & most themed room we've stayed in since the old Pirates rooms at Caribbean. I can't recommend AKL more.

Animal Kingdom Lodge was hands down one of the most fascinating, enriching, beautiful places we've ever stayed. The cast members -- from mousekeeping to front desk to dining to cultural ambassadors -- everyone there-- were thoughtful, friendly, down to earth, and went out of their way to make us at home. There was so much to do at the resort we really would have been happy not even visiting a theme park but just spending a couple days enjoying the resort amenities. In fact we plan to go back to do just that! We felt that staying there was a unique privilege, unsurpassed by any other setting in the U.S.
