Plenty of free parking, and the kids loved the pool. Breakfast was really good, lots of options, and Kayla runs a great breakfast buffet. Thank you Kayla and Kimberly for taking great care of our family!
- SMSam MAug 24, 20264.0Not a bad hotel for the price and it’s next to some great stores Pros: Free breakfast that always tasted great, a small snack shop in the lobby, hobby lobby and other retailers within walking distance, mini fridge and microwave in the room, friendly staff who will go out of their way to ensure not only your comfort but also your safety Cons: The bed was pretty rough to sleep on. I actually had broken sleep both nights of my stay. The shower was also really slippery even with the mat. In addition to that, the safety of the area surrounding the hotel is a bit questionable as I was approached by a gentleman on an bicycle outside the front doors who asked me if I had any illegal substances. The manager on duty was fantastic and ensured i made it to my room safely though

My all-time favorite brand is Holiday Inn—I’ve honestly never had a bad experience at any of their locations. Whenever I think of Holiday Inn, the very first thing that comes to mind is their consistently comfortable beds. My stay at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Jacksonville South - I-295 by IHG was no exception; it was another fantastic experience. Everything was so great that, as a business traveler, I was actually sad I could only stay for one night. Whenever I see a good rate here on my future business trips to Jacksonville, I won't hesitate to book it right away.
