The room had a strange smell and the furniture looked very worn. This was very unacceptable for us, so we asked for another room and was assigned a 2nd floor room. The carpet was very worn along with the furniture in the room. There was a dampness in this room (condensation) papers and other items felt damp such as bedding felt damp. It was a disappointing stay. The front desk was helpful in respect of changing rooms but very unphased regarding cleanliness and presentation. We would not recommend anyone to stay at this location.

- DTDonald TritzJun 25, 20261.0I have been an IHG member for many years and have stayed at numerous IHG properties during my frequent business travel, including many stays at Candlewood Suites locations. Unfortunately, this was by far the most disappointing experience I have encountered. The property appeared poorly maintained and did not reflect the standards I have come to expect from the IHG brand. Upon entering the room, the air felt stale and stuffy, and there was a persistent unpleasant odor throughout the space. Additionally, the bed was extremely uncomfortable. The mattress had a noticeable depression in the center, making it feel as though I was sleeping in a hole rather than on a properly supported bed. As a result, I was unable to get a restful night’s sleep. Given my long history as a loyal IHG customer, I was particularly disappointed by the condition of this property and the overall quality of my stay.
