  My husband and I stayed at this hotel for three nights. It is well-located, very close to the beach and restaurants. The rooms were clean and tidy. I had brought my own shampoo, but it turned out I didn't need it at all; Dove shampoo, conditioner, soap, and body wash were provided. The towels were clean, and we were pleased with them. The breakfast was excellent, too. The staff were friendly and helpful; the lady on duty at breakfast each morning was particularly warm and accommodating. Overall, we really liked it. If I were rating it out of 10, I’d give it an 8, but it is definitely a 5-out-of-5 experience. Thank you for your great hosting. I can be back again next time.

  This hotel was pretty awesome great customer service Noah at the front desk was amazing. He helped us with all of our needs. We didn’t know where we were going or where we were at and he pointed us gave us good recommendations and was happy to do it. The rooms are great they have Plenty of towels and good soap and refrigerator microwave and super clean a nice pool, etc. will definitely come here when I come back to visit my grand As she just moved here

  Extremely Disappointed – Diamond Elite Member As a Diamond Elite member, I have stayed at many Holiday Inn Express/IHG properties and have honestly never had an experience like this. I have always had good experiences with Holiday Inn, which makes what happened at this Jacksonville, Florida location even more disappointing. My parents traveled in from Houston and were already exhausted from their trip. Unfortunately, instead of being able to get a good night’s sleep, they had to listen to a dog barking throughout the night. It became so unbearable that they actually left the hotel around 3:00 AM and went to another hotel just so they could get some rest. On top of that, the pool was dirty and not what we expected from a Holiday Inn Express property. What made the situation even worse was how it was handled afterward. When I called the hotel, I spoke with a supervisor named Kam, and I was extremely disappointed by her attitude. Instead of showing any concern or understanding, she was argumentative, rude, and disrespectful. I was told that nothing could be done because the issue wasn’t reported that night. My question is: what exactly were they supposed to do at 2 or 3 in the morning about a dog that had been barking all night? If the barking was loud enough to cause guests to leave the hotel in the middle of the night, how was hotel staff or the dog’s owner completely unaware of it? As a loyal IHG Diamond Elite member, I expected the concern to at least be taken seriously instead of being met with an argument. Thankfully, I contacted IHG corporate, and they actually listened to my concerns and took steps to address the situation. I greatly appreciate how corporate handled the matter. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this particular location based on our experience. Guests should be able to expect a clean property, a reasonable night’s sleep, and respectful customer service when there is a problem. The way Supervisor Kam spoke to me was completely unacceptable and made an already frustrating experience even worse. I will continue staying with IHG because this is not representative of the experiences I’ve had at other Holiday Inn properties, but I personally would not stay at this Jacksonville location again.

  My stay in Room 301 was disappointing. The biggest issue was the strong odor throughout the third-floor hallway. It smelled as though someone had urinated in the halls, and the unpleasant smell made me feel nauseous. Another concern was that the elevators were frequently out of service, which was very inconvenient. Lastly, I felt the staff could have been more attentive and welcoming. I noticed that some staff members greeted and interacted with certain guests while seemingly ignoring others. Every guest should feel acknowledged and treated with the same level of courtesy and respect.
