  Very disappointed with our 3 day stay & will not return. This is not a modern facility and EVERYTHING is extra $. It would seem NOTHING is complimentary. Room was dated & tiny, wallpaper was peeling off bathroom wall, room was supposed to have 2 queen sized beds, it was a full & a queen. They 'gift' you w/only 2 Waterpark passes (they actually charge you for them as part of the amenities) and the passes are only good for 1 day. There was no complimentary breakfast, you must pay for it. Upon booking, I believed breakfast was 'part of the deal', nope! The putt-putt golf, also extra $. Who wants to play that in the +95°? Nobody. We were sweating just trying to find our room, after checking in. Feeling slightly robbed by the whole experience. Again, if & when we come back to this area, we will seek other accommodations. AVOID THIS HOTEL!!

  Great stat to celebrate our son’s birthday!! Location couldn’t be better. A quick walk to the beach, coffee shop, restaurants, water park, & cvs. Loved that the putt putt was right there. We don’t rent anything, but loved that they have options for bike, boat, & jetski rentals there on site. Jimmy Guana’s was good & enjoyed the live music while we watched the boats come in and out. The room was clean and the staff were all nice! Plenty of parking!! We will be back!

  This was a wonderful trip. I think this is definitely a family destination, the waterpark and the mini put put right on hotel property are great amenities and so much fun for families. We stayed in a suite and I immediately started checking things as soon as I got there and I found tissues and beer bottles, and trash under my bed. I ran Operations for our hotels in Treasure Island and Daytona Florida. -So either housekeeping is lagging or rushed -otherwise everything else was great. I did not complain to the front desk because what do I care about what’s under the bed? Everything else seemed to be clean and all of the staff was amazing Heather at the front desk was so great and the Bartender… He was so friendly I believe his name was Dan maybe Josh but I can’t recall. He made some good drinks. That is why I cannot recall. 😂 The Gulf is across the street and you can rent boats and jet skis directly at the hotel. It was a great time. Thank you for having us.— after over two weeks and 10 business days, I have not received my deposit back. I’ve called the hotel several times and each person tells me something different at the front desk. One person even had the audacity to tell me it could take up to two weeks to receive it back. I’ve contacted my bank and they have no record. I have worked operations for a local hotel in treasure Island and I know this is not the practice authorizations are supposed to be released right after the room is checked by housekeeping and it takes no more than 3 to 5 business days. I’ve asked to speak to a manager and left messages and receive nothing

  I've stayed at this Holiday Inn Clearwater about five times, usually around the 4th of July, and I've always had a great experience. This time, however, the service was even better. We stayed in room 227, which was very comfortable and exceptionally clean. The housekeeping staff even stopped by our room to make sure we had everything we needed, which I really appreciated. The front desk staff were all very friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. I also noticed that the hotel was much cleaner than on my previous visits, and I received text messages during my stay asking if everything was going well and if I needed anything. That extra attention made us feel valued as guests. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so enjoyable. We will definitely be back!

  The staff was very friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. We appreciated having a restaurant located right in the hotel, and our marina view was beautiful. The hotel was also easy to access, and the pool area was well maintained. One thing to note is that the property is not fully enclosed. While activities such as mini golf have some cover, you are still exposed to the outdoor heat. Unfortunately, we experienced an issue with our room. We had adjoining rooms, and upon arrival we noticed a couple of flying termite insects in one of the rooms. At the time, we didn't think much of it. However, on our second night, shortly after turning off the air conditioner, our children came upstairs to tell us there were bugs all over the beds. When we checked, we found that one of the beds in the adjoining room was heavily infested with flying termites. Although it was late at night, the front desk responded quickly and sent security (Greg) and the engineer (Rocky) to assist us. They were understanding, professional, and did their best to address the situation by stripping the beds and replacing the linens. The source of the termites could not be determined at the time, which made it difficult to know whether the issue had been fully resolved. We greatly appreciated their urgency and customer service. Unfortunately, due to the extent of the issue, we decided to check out the following day. While our experience was disappointing, we want to recognize Greg and Rocky for their prompt response and professionalism. Did you like this feature? That wording states the concern without sounding accusatory, which tends to make reviews more credible.
