  Not the holiday inn I'm used to. I have had issues with IHG in the past. The property here is rather disappointing. No 24 hour coffee, no microwave in the room, and pay to park. As a faithful IHG member in the past I decided to give them another chance. I travel for work numerous weeks through out the year. What hotel does not offer coffee, what hotel does not have a simple microwave in the room. Zero notta! The room smells of piss. I noticed that a pet decided to piss all over the cabinet door to the fridge. Photo attached. Totally disgusting. The elevator has wires hanging out of the controls in the lobby and appears to be left like this for sometime. Lesson learned again with IHG. I am in town for 6 weeks. Won't be back to this location.

  The Ft. Lauderdale airport La Quinta nearby is much better if you need a cheap hotel. You can hear a LOT of outside noises from the rooms both from the rest of the floor(s) and also outside, hallways stink, front staff are questionable at their best mood, and you pay for parking (and if you need early check in, regardless of how close to check in or if your room is ready). There’s really no reason to pay their rates because you can get the exact same experience from a cheaper, more peaceful hotel with free parking and better reception.

  I parked here and use their airport shuttle option as I didn’t want to park at the airport. It was about 15 minutes away and very convenient. I have to shout out David who was the driver of the shuttle and he was absolutely SPECTACULAR. He made sure I got to the airport in time and was very respectful. I was also cutting it very close to when my flight departed and he made sure there wasn’t going to be an issue. The same thing when it came for him to pick me up. He called me and waited until I arrived and made sure we got back safely. It was raining so he even dropped me off at my car so my luggage wasn’t soaked. I highly recommend parking here as it alleviated so much stress and pressure and I was able to park with no issues. Thank you again, David! You are a superstar 🌟

  David was amazing! From the moment he picked us up until he dropped us off, he made us feel comfortable, welcomed, and well taken care of.   You get what you pay for.. we needed somewhere essentially to sleep while we were in the area so this fit the criteria. Next time I'll definitely do more due diligence as it was the worst experience I've had in a Holiday Inn. The room didn't seem very clean. Only the plugs on two of the table lamps worked - the other lamp next to the bed/AC and plugs didn't. The plugs on the wall in the kitchenette couldn't hold the plugs for our devices so they were useless. I will say the AC was cold and the room was fairly quiet other than the occasional train (which I don't mind). Parking is not complimentary either.
