  A truly wonderful stay! My mom and I stayed at the Staybridge Suites Gainesville last week, and it was exceptional from start to finish. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and thoughtfully designed. Our room was spacious, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. We also loved the location — tucked away from the busy main road, so it felt calm and relaxing while still being close to everything. The pool area is a standout feature: a cozy hot tub, a lovely fountain, an outdoor grill, and plenty of comfortable seating. It’s clear that a lot of care went into creating a space where guests can unwind. But the best part of our stay was the check‑in experience. Patrick at the front desk is the true gem of this hotel. He was kind, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. He didn’t just check us in — he tailored the experience to each guest, offering helpful information and making everyone feel valued. His warmth set the tone for our entire stay. We will absolutely return, and we highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Gainesville.

  I really enjoyed my stay! My room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. A special thank you to Jamaics for doing such a wonderful job keeping my room clean and comfortable throughout my stay. I felt right at home and had a great experience overall. I would definitely stay here again!

  First, they had breakfast and a late afternoon hors d’oeuvre, Social both were excellent. The women running it were very pleasant and helpful. The food was surprisingly good and a wonderful variety. The front desk staff was kind and friendly. I couldn’t have asked for anything else. And I was so surprised how big our room was and how beautiful it was. I made a few comments about how shocked I was that it was so nice and that I wished I lived here.

  Can't say this was a great experience, contrary to the older reviews the recemt breakfast is absolutely garbage, there is zero effort, staff are completely disinterested and there just isn't enough of it, why cook 10 pieces of bacon when there's 30 people still eating and a long queue for hot food. Complained after the first night that the sofa bed (which we had to make up) was too uncomfortable for the kids and the first thing I was told was to cancel my reservation to book another room, even if cheaper, manager got involved later and they changed the mattress, that worked. Just no service to rave about to be honest. The air con was noisy and when that went off at night all we could hear was a constant drip on the window ledge. Not a pleasant 3 nights

  Great hotel, I have been staying here for 3 weeks now and I am glad I selected this hotel. Super friendly staff, clean hotel. They do dinner Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights for free. The breakfast taste good and huge selection of stuff. If I come back to Gainesville I will definitely come back to this hotel!
