  This place is a nightmare. Book at your own accord. The manager David is useless he does nothing to help the guest. He is barely there to assist his staff. I would not waste my time or money. Do not book

  I really would like to keep this place my secret because I don't want it to ever be all booked up, but when something exceeds your expectations you must give credit where it is due. I have zero complaints! There is a 24 hour gym, free laundry on site for guests, an outdoor pool with a nice grilling area, a coffee machine in the lobby and a snack, beverage and sundries area with items for purchase. There is nothing more that you could want or need. The rooms are spacious, I was in a queen suite. The beds and pillows were comfortable and perfect for me. There's a desk area work station with drawers which is very large and a kitchenette which features a microwave, dishwasher, full size fridge, coffee maker and cooktop. Dishes, utensils, cooking utensils, glasses, pots and pans are also provided. There is a large walk in style closet with an ironing board and iron and plenty of room for clothes. The bathroom is spacious, bright and I love the giant mirror wall. The air conditioner worked excellent and kept my room super cold. The rooms were super clean I have no complaints there. The rooms get maid service weekly, however, you can change out your towels and sheets at the front desk as frequently as you wish. They also have pool/ beach towels at the desk. There is plenty of parking and it's also free. They are super pet friendly and my puppies really enjoyed it there. They had a jar of bones, that my dogs would expect every night when I came in, which I thought was a nice touch. Lastly I can not say enough about how amazing, helpful, pleasant and accommodating the staff is! I've never met such a great bunch of people at a front desk. Every single one of them always had a smile on their face and greeted you by name every day. I am a night owl and have difficulty sleeping and usually get most of my things done at night, like towel changes etc. The girl that is at the desk overnight, Martina, was always so personable, helpful and she always put a smile on my face. She always offered to help we weather I just was bringing in groceries or I had towels and a mound of laundry. I now view her as more than just an employee at the Candlewood Suites and would definitely consider her a friend. I actually will miss her when I leave and I have never said that about anyone at a hotel. Overall this is by far an amazing spot, especially for the price you can't beat it! It's about 12 mins to Fort Myers Beach Times Square and is tucked away, but everything you need is close enough nearby. This is going to be my go to spot in Fort Myers as it definitely exceeded my expectations and the entire staff made me feel warm and welcomed, especially Martina. Do not hesitate to book! But shhhhhh.... Let's not get the secret out to much....I still want to be able to get myself a room when I need one!

  Not the standard that I'm used to for candlewood, first time I ever had to change a room, because of no working phone, no functional stove, dirty cookware and a broken garbage disposal. Hopefully whoever signed off on that room was held accountable.

  Great price Location is good, the staff was amazing. Martina was very welcoming and she seemed really happy to assist me. I was greeted and giving all information on the hotel admittees and any fun activities to do while I'm here. I appreciated Martina being so kind and full of joy at that time of night.

  I wanted to recognize ALIANEZ from housekeeping for her exceptional kindness during our stay. The interaction we had with her was so pleasant she was warm, gracious, and genuinely welcoming. On the morning of checkout, we were running a little behind and asked if we could have a bit more time. Even though we weren't members and complimentary late checkouts aren't typically offered anymore, she was incredibly understanding and gave us the extra time we needed. We truly appreciated her flexibility. It's employees like Alianez who make a stay memorable. Her professionalism, positive attitude, and willingness to help did not go unnoticed. Thank you, Alianez, for making our experience at Candlewood Suites such a pleasant one!
