  During a two-week road trip, we stayed at seven IHG hotels. While some were good and others were places I wouldn't stay at again, I simply have to highlight the Holiday Inn Express in Dunedin, FL. The cleanliness, décor, breakfast, and so on were all excellent. I must specifically mention the professionalism and friendliness of Danny, the front desk attendant; his professionalism was evident from the very moment we called to get information. They really ought to have him train staff across the chain—he provided the kind of service you’d expect from a five-star hotel. We will definitely be back.   Staff are friendly and extremely helpful. You can tell that Danny loves his job. Make sure to get down to breakfast at least a 1/2 before they close. The outdoor swimming pool is pleasant. It is about 15 yards long by about 8 yds wide. Overall I am very glad that I chose this hotel.

  Fantastic location between Clearwater and Dunedin. Christian at the fron desk was personable, efficient, and very kind. I appreciate that he checked in on what kind of vibes we were going for in regards to restaurant recommendations and applied our response (chill vibes) to where he assigned outlr room. It was so peaceful at the end of the hall I got the best sleep I've ever gotten at a hotel. The beds were fantastically firm (which I loved but my husband did not). Highly recommend!

  This has been, by far, one of the best customer service experiences of my family's life. We are locals and our power cut out during the storm and so did my parents. We looked around a called a couple places, until we reached Danny. Danny heard our troubles and was empathetic. He compared rates for any that we qualified for and worked to get us back in the AC for the night. Within the hour we were back in comfort and again Danny blew us away with his customer service giving us complimentary water and a late checkout. After a wonderful rest in the clean, well kept room we headed down for breakfast. Here we met Penny, who again greeted us with amazing energy. Walked us through the whole breakfast spread. She catered to us during our breakfast bringing fresh items by the table, refilling drinks, and cleaning finished plates all whilst keeping the buffet stocked. Our entire experience has been a pleasure and turned storm drama into a mini vacation. We will recommend this place to our guests when they travel here every time.

  OMG. How do I begin. Ok so we have done quite a bit of travel and started to get the idea that iHG has lost its appeal. Well that has changed after our weekend in Dunedin. This holiday inn and staff are amazing. From the time we entered the foyer to the time we checked out they over exceeded our expectations over and over again. The welcome to the goodbye was very special indeed. Very clean hotel, comfortable beds, rooms are impeccable kept. Almost like a fresh paint. No chips scratches run down looks anywhere in the hotel. Even when we ordered Uber Eats the one night the front desk staff not only asked if we needed anything else but also asked if we wanted plates silverware napkins etc. wow. Then we walked in after spending the day in the heat of July and the front desk agent offered us bottles of water really? Such a simple gesture but goes a long way. From the friendly smiles to the 4th of July gifting basket to the special decorative touches for the holiday weekend. You guys rock!!
