  My family and I stayed at this hotel for a friends wedding. This location was fantastic as it was close to downtown, so everything was walkable. The best part of the hotel was the front desk team—specifically Danny. He was superb and provided better service than some luxury hotels.

  My wife and I stayed at this property on Wednesday evening, May 6. We came into town for a birthday party the following day. The hotel is immaculate. Everything in the hotel was immaculate. Front desk receptionist, Daniel (Danny) greeted us warmly and made a genuine effort to make us feel valued and welcome. Breakfast in the lobby was lovely, food was excellent. Wait staff assigned to breakfast was ever present and helpful. But here is why this experience was so outstanding. Upon arriving into our room we discovered no hangers in the closet. And so as we left the hotel to walk around Dunedin we asked "Danny" if he could have 4-5 hangers delivered to the room. He not only had them delivered, but there was a note attached to the hangers apologizing to us. My wife and I have kept that handwritten note. That's Ritz Carlton level of service. This property blew us away - and when we are again in the Clearwater/Dunedin area will stay here. This is a five star property.

  We stayed here for 21 days and felt right at home immediately. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. The breakfast is fantastic—absolutely nothing is missing. Danny at the front desk is always available with tips and advice, and always in good spirits. The hotel's location is ideal; the coast, the town center, and the restaurants of Dunedin are all within walking distance. We had a wonderful stay—highly recommended.

  Danny at the front desk is absolutely Fantastic! ☺️ From the second you walk into the lobby, his energy, huge smile, and genuine warmth completely set the tone for an amazing stay. He welcomed us like family, kept the atmosphere upbeat and inviting, and the sparkling clean lobby reflected the pride he clearly takes in his work — Holiday Inn Express truly has a superstar at the front desk!

  I stayed at this hotel during the week of April 29, 2026 for a staycation (I'm from Tampa) with my family who is from Washington State and are not familiar with this area. The hotel staff, breakfast team, and maintenance crew are so kind and pleasant. Every time we entered the hotel we were greeted and asked if we wanted a bottle of water, if we needed any complimentary toiletries, or they asked us about our day's adventure. The room was a double queen bed on the second floor on the side of the hotel that is closest to the Pinellas Trail. It was a quiet room and housekeeping did a great job each day. The breakfast buffet had plenty of options. The food was always hot and ready to eat. The seating in the lobby was plenty with the tables/chairs and couches available. Coffee is available 24/7 to the right of the front desk. The pool and hot tub are well maintained and pool float sticks are available for use in the pool only. A few lounge chairs are on the pool deck, along with two tables that have umbrellas. The location of this hotel is fantastic. My family and I love Dunedin and this hotel allows for walkability between the Pinellas Trail, Downtown Dunedin, and Edgewater Drive. A must try for ice cream is Strachan's. For the beach: Honeymoon Island Beach is 15 minutes away, Fred Howard in Tarpon Springs is about 30 minutes away, and Clearwater Beach is also an a close option at 20 minutes away (during the slow season). Huge shoutout to Danny! He was friendly, kind, and very attentive. Always going out of his way to help my family and I. He did the same for other hotel guests that I personally observed. He is a rock star and deserves a raise! Thanks again :-)
