  The hotel is good, but a guy identified as the general manger was extremely rude. I was getting back to the hotel and parked my car in front of the entrance for less than 15 seconds in order that my wife take the car, because she was going to go to the hair salon. The "general manager" told me than I can't park the car in that area and I keept moving out, my wife took the car and left right away, the man told me he was the general manager and I responded him that I didn't care, I went to my room and later the police knocked on the door and kindly asked to leave the hotel. I payed for 3 nights and the Intercontinental didn't refund the money.

  For the fancy exterior the amenities are pretty disappointing. The lobby smells great but the rooms themselves are okay. The beds are too soft and gave me and my colleagues back pain after two nights. The pillows are the same as a low quality hotel (Whoopie cushions basically). The rooms are clean and the pool is nice but I was shocked to see that the TV’s only have Live TV or airplay. Airplay stopped working for me after one day so the TV is basically useless since I avoid Live shows besides the news. Not the worst but not as great as I was expecting for the price, location, and visual representation.

  This morning, we held our Leading Peers CEO Networking Breakfast at the InterContinental at Doral, and it was our first time using the hotel for an event. We had a wonderful experience from start to finish. Planning with Carla Ferretti, Sales and Catering Manager, was a breeze. She was responsive, helpful, and made the entire process easy. At the event, Banquet Manager Daniel Gonzalez and his team, Katya, Gloria, and Ruth, provided excellent service. They were attentive, accommodating, and made sure everything ran smoothly throughout the morning. Even the smallest details were outstanding. Daniel went above and beyond by putting together beautiful centerpieces with fresh flowers for our event tables and buffet. It was such a thoughtful touch and made the room (at a corporate event) look beautiful! From the planning and service to all the little details that made the morning special, we couldn’t have been happier with our experience. We truly appreciate everyone who helped make our event a success and look forward to holding our next event at the InterContinental at Doral!

  Angela is truly an exceptional professional and a wonderful example of what outstanding hospitality should be. Her professionalism, kindness, warmth, and genuine dedication to every guest make a remarkable difference in the overall experience. She provides exceptional service to all customers and has an incredible ability to make every guest feel welcome, valued, and well taken care of. Her positive attitude and attention to detail make the stay at the InterContinental at Doral Miami even more pleasant and memorable. Angela is a true asset to the Nao Restaurant and to the entire hotel. Her professionalism and commitment to excellent customer service should be an example for all members of the staff to follow.   I was very satisfied with the hotel overall. The staff was friendly and helpful, everything was clean, and I had a pleasant stay. Unfortunately, after checking out, I realized that I had accidentally left my Apple Watch in the room. At first, it could not be found, but the hotel checked the room again and eventually found it. A special thank you to Vanessa, the Front Office Manager. She put a lot of effort into resolving the situation, stayed in contact with me throughout the process, and even helped arrange the international shipping of my watch back to Germany. Today, I finally received it safely. Problems can happen, but what really matters is how they are handled. Vanessa did everything she could to find a solution, and I really appreciate her support and commitment. Overall, a very positive experience, and I would definitely stay at this hotel again!
