Just a note to say no beach on site
Have to take a boat ride to get to beach shuttle stops at 6 if you like to eat grand has dining on site we ate breakfast 2 times a little pricey but good best place to eat for supper is McGuire pub across the street cannot recommend this place enough great food
Visited a friend while she was staying here and was disappointed by the state of the place. The rooms weren’t properly cleaned even though it wasn’t ready at 4 (like they promised it would be). Dirty, sandy, and found broken glass — really glad her toddler didn’t step on it or worse. The property is not well-kept: all the AC units mounted in the ceiling were actively leaking, leaving puddles on the floor, and not a “wet floor” sign in sight. Pool was randomly closed with no explanation. Couches and chairs in the living room was stiff and uncomfortable. Balcony was out of order (no idea what was wrong with it). The good - it’s convenient. There’s a water taxi that takes you to the beach, with towels and chairs included (the chairs are old, falling apart, and uncomfortable).
Not one of the better stays I’ve had with Wyndham. First of all the staff was not as knowledgeable as they should have been, not very helpful and not very expedient when it comes to problems. The rooms were not prepared properly, the floors were filthy and sandy from the previous guests. The television channels were sparse and not very up to date. No premium channels, no sports channels. The noise level was worse than a night on the Vegas strip there was banging, yelling, clanging and other strange sounds bleeding through the walls and doors and windows. The elevators were a disaster. The wait times and crowds waiting for elevators were pathetic and discouraging for someone who pays a large amount of money every year to stay in a vacation resort for a week of problems, crowds and frustrations. The staff who is in charge of checking you in and helping you park your vehicle needs to have English as a first language. The beds are springy, lumpy uncomfortable and were not conducive to having a good night’s rest. As an owner I felt slighted. This is not how I envisioned this place would be.

Our stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. We stayed for a full week, and unfortunately, the issues were constant throughout our visit.
The biggest concern was the condition of the room. There was visible mold in multiple areas, including the bathroom, around the air vents in the bedroom, and along the baseboards. This is a serious health concern and completely unacceptable for any hotel.
To make matters worse, only one of the three elevators was working, and the stairwells were also closed. Every time we needed to leave or return to our room, we had to wait up to 30 minutes for the elevator. It became incredibly frustrating and wasted a significant amount of our vacation. We have multiple children so this only made matters harder.
We also paid extra for a balcony room, but every night the patio lights remained on with no switch or way to turn them off. The bright lights shined directly into the room all night, making it difficult to sleep and defeating the purpose of having a relaxing balcony.
For the price we paid and the length of our stay, we expected a clean, safe, and well-maintained hotel. Instead, we dealt with mold, broken facilities, and poor room design that made it hard to enjoy our vacation. I would not stay here again and cannot recommend this hotel unless these issues are addressed.
For such a big and “luxurious” hotel we also expected a bigger pool instead of the one small outdoor one for both the east and west wing. Overall we were highly disappointed and will not be returning in the future.

We paid over $7,000 for a four-bedroom, four-bath corner unit at Emerald Grande (Room 526, West Wing), and it was one of the most disappointing resort experiences I have ever had In my 47 years on this planet. Within the first hour of check-in, maintenance was already in our room because the bunk room AC wasn’t working. In total, we had three different maintenance technicians in our unit within the first three days addressing one issue after another. The AC never properly cooled, both balcony doors had problems, the coffee maker and toaster were broken, the dishwasher barely cleaned dishes, and we had repeated issues with our room keys. The cleanliness was unacceptable. The couches were covered in stains, one chair was ripped and felt wet, cabinets and the silverware organizer were filthy, light switches were dirty, bed sheets were stained, and the unit smelled strongly of urine in two bedrooms. We even had to air out the condo for an entire day after maintenance used a strong degreaser on the doors. My son also found the previous guest’s Louis Vuitton bag containing her passport and credit cards hidden in the unit. I personally tracked her down and shipped it back. She told me they had stayed in this same room, found it so dirty they wouldn’t let their children sit on the furniture, and the hotel moved them to another floor that was much nicer. Management admitted many of the issues but said the condo is individually owned. That doesn’t excuse poor housekeeping or maintenance The hotel is responsible for. They offered a 20% discount because no comparable unit was available, but we still haven’t received it. HarborWalk Village and the private beach were nice, but even the daiquiri boat wasn’t operating because its generator was broken. We still made wonderful family memories because we made the best of our vacation, but for the price, this experience was completely unacceptable. We will not be returning. I have stayed at two Star hotels that were much nicer and up-to-date in this. Management knew how bad this room was, and they still took our money. Furious and disgusted is an understatement.
