  The building itself is a bit aged, but it is well maintained. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The cost was a bit more than I expected however compared to other options in the area it is one of the most affordable. Overall, it was a good experience, and I would definitely stay there again.

  The room was very nice and the bed was very comfortable. The overall facility looked run down. One of the elevators was broken and the ice machine on our floor was broken. I was disappointed that the pool closed at dusk despite it still being very warm in the evenings. (We were there in May, 2026). The hotel was nowhere near the beach or any restaurants or stores. It was not a vacation desitination location.

  Honestly I was pleasantly surprised at how good our stay was. We were put in a tough situation as the hotel we originally booked had oversold so they placed us here. While it was a bit outdated, the staff was super friendly, the rooms and common areas were clean, the breakfast was basic but still good, and the pool seemed nice (it was raining the day we were there so couldn't use it). For a quick stay I would hesitate to recommend the Best Western Deerfield Beach!

  Negative stars! Staff were awful , disrespectful and rude . Outdated property in poor confition. Worst experience of my life the plumbing didn't work. The refrigerator didn't work. The breakfast made me sick. The room smelled of mold and fungus. There were bugs and spiders from the lake behind in the room. Upon my arrival, several agressive raccoons greeted me trying to jump into my car! This place is overrun by large raccoons. I needed a 2-week preoaid stay in order to complete some serious paperwork and it was most miserable. I decided to take it day by day... every day they gave me hassle about the third party reservation. Dd not like the fact that I used 3rd party to make this reservation I'm a professional person and I was there on business. I travel a lot for corporate purposes. They did not treat me with the proper respect and upon check out they charged me $100 after refusing me a late check out after already approving earlier. For some reason, the staff & manager decided to get aggressively inappropriate at checkout demanding I open the door while dressing and refusing me a luggage cart. I am a Senior Female Professional for decades . They treated me like I was beneath them. Very unfriendly and inconsiderate .There is a reason why the rates are so low! I simply was trying for economical business stay, however I do not recommend this Best Western because they have no sense of hospitality. They are very unprofessional. They struggle at the front desk to handle a reservation and make you wait a long time. They're only interested in monetary advantage over their guests once they are in house. This was a prepaid reservation so I could not receive a refund! They kept my incidental hold. I do not recommend anyone stay herewoth kids as it is not very child friendly. Actually is a very dangerous place as there is no securityy here.. The hot tub is dirty the pool is locked up. There is no place to throw garbage or pool towels . It's very scantily maintained. All my requests for maintenance or housekerping were ignored. . I would have overlooked all of that except for fact that the management was so rude to me. I did not deserve the treatment that I received as a long term Best Western member because I am a low key, no drama person. I do not drink alcohol or do drugs. I am religious. I'm very upset because I needed a place where I could do focused financial work and it ended up such a nightmare that I had to struggle through... worse than I had ever experienced in all my travels.T hey do not value their guests as expected. They lie about charges and upharge set rates. They make nothing right here. I truly believe that they discriminated against me because I am a female senior traveling alone on business. Property filthy in full of trash outside. Cigarette butts . Food empty containers I even picked up some of it, however there was no garbage to put it in. No place to put wet towels from the pool. Did I say agressive Raccoons! I also saw several large rats. The point is.. it's dirty. There's only one washer and dryer and it's filthy overpriced. I dared not use it. The elevators don't work texcept for ONE, so this is not a good place for anyone who has a disability...you will have to climb many flights of stairs. It is a very large place and they only have one luggage cart, one elevator, one washer, and dryer. One maintainance worker and one housekerping for the entire place. The Lakeview was nice, however it's full of algae so it smells very swampy and walking the path there were a few snakes and garbage strewn as well. I am very sad to write this review. I have traveled extensively on business throughout the United States and Europe for two decades as a Health Care Highly Credentialed Professional. I normally stay at Marriott for business. This time I had equipment hardware issues and needed to economise.

  They didn't have our reservation in their system when we checked in. Had to spend 30 minutes on the phone with our Booking.com rep to get refunded the original booking cost. Then had to book directly with the hotel, but they wouldn't match the same priceh, so we paid more. The closest elevator was closed for repairs, so after a long walk outside, we arrived at our 2nd elevator. Looked like it was about to fall apart. Felt like we escaped alive after using it a few times. The beds were cheap spring mattresses with a pillowtop cover. Below average beds. The Hotel property seems over 50 years old, like an old Holiday Inn from the 1970s. We won't stay there again.
