  Check in was a breeze. Hilary was very cheerful and friendly. Rooms are clean but a little dated. Has a bar and restaurant with Nice staff. EXCELLENT location

  I have given this hotel two chances. The first time I was traveling for pleasure with my partner and dog. Our room was small, outdated and the AC would not keep up so we left and did not stay. I decided to try again when I had to travel for business with four other coworkers (we stayed the whole week at approx 553 dollars a person). The AC vents on my floor had mold on them, the light shades were old and cracked, and there were pieces of the ceiling missing. My room had a chip in the bathroom door and at least one of my coworkers had a toilet seat that was loose among several other issues. One night we all sat downstairs as a group and were playing jackbox and we had to hookup to the TV in the lobby to do so. We were not being unruly or disturbing anyone... the owner was stalking his surveillance cameras from home and had the front desk clerk check in on us to see what we were doing then after she had to tell us to stop because of the loitering in the lobby ... what? Regardless... my agency will NEVER stay here again. I would rather drive into town from Deland than stay at this hotel which was the closer option for our reason of visit. I took pictures but am unsure how to include them here. Side note... if you want breakfast while you are there its 21.99 a person for nothing special.

  One Star — Extremely Disappointed With How Management Handled This Situation We stayed at this hotel and unfortunately had a very upsetting experience after checking out. My 16-year-old daughter accidentally left her Pandora ring in the room. We realized it was missing within 30–45 minutes of checking out and immediately contacted the front desk. We were told that housekeeping would be notified, that the ring would be taken to Lost and Found, and that it would be available for us to pick up when we returned to the hotel. Today, when we returned to retrieve the ring, we were told that the hotel did not have it. What made this situation even more upsetting was how my daughter was treated. Instead of showing concern or empathy toward a 16-year-old who was already upset about losing something important to her, she was essentially told that if the ring was really that important to her, she should not have left it behind. Yes, my daughter made an honest mistake. She is 16 years old. People accidentally leave things behind. That does not give hotel staff or management the right to be dismissive or make a young person feel worse about an already upsetting situation. We immediately notified the hotel after discovering the ring was missing and relied on what we were told—that housekeeping would be notified and the ring would be placed in Lost and Found. We returned specifically to retrieve it, only to be told that they did not have it. The missing ring is disappointing, but the lack of accountability, communication, and basic compassion from management is what truly made this experience unacceptable. I expected management to take the situation seriously and make every effort to determine what happened to my daughter’s property. Instead, my daughter was made to feel as though she was at fault for expecting the hotel to properly handle an item that had been left in her room. Extremely disappointing experience. I would not recommend this hotel based on how this situation was handled.

  Mimi and Angel were the ABSOLUTE BEST part of our stay... their kindness and Joyful friendly attitudes... some of the BEST past of my trip to Florida!!! Imagine, people, making that kind of a difference!! Those two sure did♡
