    I loved this hotel. It was very clean, the staff was very helpful and pleasant Ms Witlene was very wonderful to us at check in. The pool was great and the breakfast was delicious. We will definitely be coming back to stay here.

    We were recently in town between a cruise and a flight, and wanted a quiet place that was near the port and the airport. When we arrived, there was an issue with our reservation, but Amber at the front desk worked tirelessly to amend the situation! She was compassionate, understanding, apologetic, and offered us coffee while we waited. Amber’s kindness made all the difference during a stressful situation, and she was finally able to resolve our problem. Thank you, Amber!

    There was a reservation mix up with IHG(parent company) and Amber worked her tail off to fix the problem for us. My wife and I so appreciated Amber today. She took what could have been a bad situation and made it positive. Thank you Amber!

    I only stayed less than 24h. I think for the most part it's not a bad place to stay. However I'll note a few things. I had a room with a king size bed. When I booked my reservation, they said to come back between 3 at first then they told me 3:30pm but that's ok because I got the room before that. The king size room was clean, however a bit small. The tv remote did not work, the tiles on the floor were coming off because they were a stick on sticker type of material. The pool was decently sized and was clean. It just takes a bit long to check in. It was a clean place. I can't say anything else further because I didn't say that long but would give a second try, maybe with a bigger room.

    UPDATE- MILITARY Members beware— Here’s a suggestion to keep customer loyalty. When your team messes up offer a form of compensation whether it be points, refund of points used, amenities such as complimentary drinks and snacks. Something at least for the inconvenience. When you want to deter an action you need to provide a sacrifice. Not the customer having to call corporate seeking compensation in some form and in this case points. Management has went about this whole situation completely wrong. A mere “I apologize” doesn’t cut it when the manager himself can’t distinguish between slamming an ID on the counter to just dropping the ID on the counter with no ill intent. If I was intentionally being rude why would I have called the receptionist out on hers. I wasn’t raised to be a hypocrite. Just bad ppl here altogether! AVOID THIS HOTEL! As a Military Member I strongly suggest other members or veterans to avoid this hotel. If we can’t be treated better than this the military should reconsider its contracts with IHG hotels. *******Original post below ********* Arrived 2:27p and was told all rooms were unavailable for early check-in until 3p. I entered the lobby again few minutes after 3p to check in. Receptionist asked for ID and so I extended my arm and dropped it on the desk in front of her as she was sitting down. She looked at me rolling her eyes. I politely stated, “ ma’am I don’t need the attitude”! I asked for the manager who was not accommodating at all. He asked what happened and I showed him how I dropped the ID on the desk near her for pick up. He apologized for the rudeness occurred on the receptionist part while also saying it looked like I slammed the ID. I picked up my ID once more and showed him what slamming looks like. Either the manager, Greg,is not educated on terms such as “slam” or I’m the ignorant one for thinking “slam” means having force behind an action. I ended the conversation with the manager after discerning the type of individual I was dealing with. I’ve stayed at this location several times and first time I’ve had to experience this encounter.
