  I had the pleasure in staying at Avid during a difficult time as I was here during a family emergency. Missed my flight, had a cancellation but the staff at avid made me at ease. Especially Amber and Whitley❤️. They were so willing to advise where to go and assure things were going to be better. True southern hospitality. Thank you having amazing staff.

  A very nice hotel right near the port maybe 10 minutes to get to the ships. The front desk could have been a little friendlier but other than that a very solid hotel to stay in.

  Very nice staff rooms are very clean and comfortable pool is nice got alot of restaurants near by very good recommend if your traveling are visiting the area this is definitely an good place to stop stay and rest no complaints from this guy

  I stayed at this property two different times. I spend over 300 nights a year in hotels. It is not worth anywhere near the price they charge, and most of the hotels in the area are mediocre or poor and charging astronomical prices. I stayed because it was one night coming in from the airport and the points redemption value was low. I knew from my first experience, this was not a good hotel, but I was flying in at 11 pm and only needed a place to sleep for a few hours, so I could justify the reasonable points redemption for the stay. Unfortunately, the hotel was even worse this time. The first room I was given had a TV and bathroom mirror laying on the bed when I walked in. It was an error, no problem. But the second room was in disrepair. Scratches and marks all over the walls. The flooring was peeling up and uneven all over the room. The shower had rust on the floor all the way across it. There were dirty finger prints on fixtures. Mostly, I stayed on points both times I was here. I was told a credit card authorization for $50 would be held for incidentals. This is normal. Both times, my card was authorized for various amounts not $50. I had to call the property to get charges and authorizations reversed that were illegally authorized on the card. You can't dispute pending charges until they post, so several days later after being told that these charges were already reversed, I am still monitoring multiple pending charges on my account that were authorized illegally. No indication of any reversal pending. I called the property, but they couldn't speak to me because in the middle of the business day there is only one person working in the building.
