  My stay in Crystal River would not have been complete without my stay at the Holiday Inn Express. The location is 5 mins from anything you want to eat in town. I was early and availability was right,and they gladly let my brother and I check in after an eighteen hour drive. I met a fellow Michigander in one of the friendly cleaning staff. Check this out if you want clean, friendly and with a salted outdoor pool to kick back in.

  Only one entrance in exit getting off of a very busy road hard to find the driveway at night.

  I was surprised that they charged $5:00 a night for parking in their parking lot for guests staying there

  Staying at Holiday Inn Express Crystal River was not only THE best hotel bed I slept in but I am already ordering the mattress pad that they use. I was given the information by the gals that work there! The staff was incredible. Unfortunately I am forgetting the managers name...she was really cute with blonde hair and the other gal who worked the front counter...her mother is the GM! those 2 ladies ran that hotel like their home and they definitely ran it like a BOSS LADY. The kindest ladies ever. The cute short gal who ran the "continental " breakfast ....omg...she too definitely knows what shes doing in HER kitchen. The breakfast every morning was way beyond a continental breakfast and never ran out, and what should be HOT was and was was to be cold was COLD! I give this hotel a 15 out of 10. I only hope that management gives the morning kitchen lady and those 2 gals running the show during the day a raise, as well as the housekeepers! They did not miss a beat either! Well done Holiday Inn Crystal river!!!! Well done! We WILL be back and I am ordering my mattress pad! Thank you. Victoria and Brian Crull Wisconsin

  Overall decent hotel. My family and I were in the area for an event and chose this location through an Online retailer. The check-in process was quick and the rooms were spacious. There was a microwave, refrigerator and large television that offered HBO channels. In the lobby, there was a saundry shop with snacks. One of the elevators was not operational and at times there were a few people waiting to get to their floors. The breakfast was pretty good and they offered poached eggs, scrambled eggs, pork, and turkey sausage, and a variety of cereals and bread. The coffee was also delicious.
