  I would give zero rating it there is a chance to this hotel, The cockroaches int his hotel is extremely high, they crawled everywhere on tables, walls, bathrooms and chairs. In the midnight i saw morethan 100 cockroaches and when i gave complaint they say it is first time they hear about this problem and they didn't help in anyway.i was standing at the reception dor almost 2hrs to get help from them, but no they didn't even care. My daughter was eating sitting on the chair and 2 cockroaches was there walking next to her on the chair. Such a disgusting hotel and never imagined Holiday In will be so pathetic and uncomfortable. We rely choosing this hotel for our stay in destin.

  ROACHES IN THE FIRST ROOM, THEN MOVED TO SECOND ROOM WITH MOLD!!! My husband and I stayed here two years ago and had an excellent experience. So we rebooked a room for our next trip to Crestview 7/17/26. We didn't even stay 24hrs. The first room we settled in, we noticed roaches crawling on the couch and on the wall behind the couch. I tried to call the front desk from my room and the phone was not working. I immediately went down to the front desk and told the lady that checked us in and showed her the pictures I took. She acted like she wasn't surprised at all and that is wasn't a big deal. When I told her that the phone in the room doesn't work either, she commented,"I am not surprised." She basically told me that we can leave or she can put us in another room. I asked her, "Is it a better room?" And she replied in my opinion, but that's up to you." My husband and I packed up all our stuff at 6pm to move from room 215 to 415. No offer of assistance. We get to room 415 with all our stuff at 8pm. We are so tired. My husband has heart failure. All the moving is taking a toll on him. We open the door to 415 and we are hit with a horrible mildew smell. My husband was so tired he didn't care. We had our 10yr old autistic son with us and we just needee to rest. The next morning I get up to go the bathroom. The sunlight is brightening up the room and I saw it. The MOLD. I started packing right away. I picked up the phone in the room to call the front desk and that phone was not working either. Angry at this point, I go down to the front desk and tell a different lady what happened and that my husband has heart failure and we can't stay in a room with mold. We were supposed to stay two more nights. I'll never stay here again. I should of gotten a full refund. Jeopardizing my husband's health. My husband was so short of breath from all the moving. We couldn't continue our vacation. We had to return home and go to see his heart failure doctor.

  Overall rating was okay. I also like staying at Holiday Inn. Except the next morning when my family & I woke up. We are on vacation in Destin for a week but decided to stay here for a night to rest. We had a small nasty visitor that made their way to say Hi. We got a 40% Discount so I won’t complain too much, just wanted others to be aware. I will also be reporting this to corporate.

  We showed and there was absolutely no where to park. The person at the counter acted like she didnt care. Had to squeeze between a couple of busses. Got to our room and the floor by the ac was soaked. No other rooms of course. Won't stay here again. Won't recommend.
