I've been a Westgate owner since 2015 and a platinum owner as well. I'm not happy with the way the sales part has went the 2 years with the owner update. Me and my wife had told the sales person multiple times no we don’t want to change anything. After being there for 2 hours we had enough and got up and walked out.
When you are trying to be sold something and you keep saying no but they will not take no for an answer then there is a problem. I have posted a comment two different times today on the Westgate cocoa beach facebook page and they took both of them down. I also said in the last if they want to work this matter out like a professional company they know how to get ahold of me since I'm on site. They have never reach out to me!

We checked in on Friday and we left 4 days early. Dishwasher wasn't working and it was rusted out. Tryed calling front desk and phone not working. Went to plugged my phone in and electric socked sparked. The maintenance man showed up and he didn't speak any English but he did somewhat fix the dishwasher but nothing else. The Internet was down most of the time. I went and explained to front desk and they said they would take care of it but as of Tuesday morning they didn't .
The room was very tiny , you could barely walk around the bed. The room was like a dungeon. The walls were so thin you could hear the people next and above you.
You didn't have any where to sit by the pool. The pool wasn't big enough to accommodate the amount of people who were there. Most of the time you could barely get in the pool. Parking was limited and you had to pay for beech chairs.
BEWARE IT LOOKS NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURES

Employee made snarky comment implying im stupid.
I attended a presentation at Westgate Cocoa Beach Resort and while the staff was initially polite, the experience became uncomfortable once we declined the timeshare offer.
I respectfully said the program made sense financially for some people, but that we personally were not interested. In response, the presenter stood up and said, “She says it makes perfect sense but we’re not interested. Sounds like we need to start the presentation over.”
It felt unnecessarily condescending and came across as implying we were stupid for saying no. People should be able to decline a major financial commitment without being mocked or pressured afterward.
A professional sales team should understand that “no thank you” is still a valid answer, especially when potential customers are being courteous and respectful.
Be prepared for pressure tactics if you attend a timeshare presentation here.
Insulting potential customers for not making a huge financial commitment is incredibly unprofessional. A respectful “no” should not be treated like ignorance.

Lovely resort, ticks all the boxes in attractiveness, convenience, access, location. My main suggestion is an update to the dishwasher in the kitchen, which is difficult to use, old, and has signs of rust. In addition, access to a streaming service like Netflix would be lovely…complicated to screen mirror from my phone.

Rooms were spacious and clean. All rooms face the pool with either the first floor and 2nd floor but no elevator. Happy hour twice a day and inexpensive. Daily activities and the private entrance to the beach is at the end of the building and across the the street. No traffic due to the end of the road. Shuttle bus runs every 15 minutes if you want to go to Cocoa Beach Pier. Communication is via text if you need anything and the front desk responded right away. My family had a great time. Just a laid back take it easy type of vacation.
