We were here for my husband's work, so I got to explore the hotel on my own for a couple of days. Check in was fast and friendly. Because my husband would be in training until 5pm on day of check out, I asked if I could hang out in the pool area until he arrived to pick me up. Heather at the front desk offered us a complimentary late check out, which was very appreciated. The room and bathroom were very clean. Bed was decently comfortable. Yhe room seemed to be fairly updated. Everything worked as it should. Fitness center was small but nicely equipped. Pool area was clean. We had dinner at the Aviator restaurant. Both of our meals were great and decently priced. There was bottled water available in the vending machines, and complimentary water and coffee in the lobby. All of the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful.
On the side of the hotel, there is a small pond with a fountain. There is a gumball machine filled with feed to feed the turtles and ducks that live in the pond. This little detail brought me so much joy. We would stay here again.

Staff was amazing! Heather and Marcedes at the desk in evenings and Lisa in the AM were all incredibly helpful and friendly. Richar who came by daily to clean the room always made sure I had fresh towels and anything else I could need. The lady who prepped breakfast was quick and friendly, though I dont think the food is worth the prices they are charging for it. The rooms are a bit dated but were fairly well maintained and clean besides the floors, which could definitely benefit from a steam cleaning. Overall a great experience for the price, but will definitely bring slippers or something if I stay again so I dont have to walk barefoot on the room floors.

Leider roch es in unserem Zimmer sehr stark nach Feuchtigkeit. Ohne Raumspray, dass wir selbst gekauft hatten, hätte ich es nicht in dem Raum ausgehalten. Die Lüftung im Badezimmer brachte gar nichts. Irgendwie fühlte sich sogar das Bettzeug klamm an. Im Hotelflur lief dauerhaft ein Entfeuchter, der im Zimmer leider nicht gegen die Feuchtigkeit geholfen hat.
Das Bett war auch viel zu weich aber das ist ja Geschmackssache.
Grundsätzlich wäre es sinnvoll den Teppich mit einem anderen Bodenbelag zu ersetzen.
Das Reinigungspersonal sowie auch das Personal am Empfang waren freundlich. Gut war, dass es eine Kapselkaffeemaschine und einen Kühlschrank gab.

I was pretty disappointed in our stay mainly due to the amenities. I expected more when I had to pay nearly $1200 for a total of 5 nights. We didn’t have housekeeping once during our stay. I did read that it was only done every 3 nights but all through our stay we didn’t have any at all. I thought our towels would be changed out during the housekeeping day so we would just hang our towels on the hanger to dry but that never happened so we just kept hanging our towels to dry every night. We used our target bags for trash and after they started piling up I just started leaving them outside our door for someone to pick up. I felt bad doing so but I didn’t know what else I was supposed to do. We did enjoy the pool it was a nice contrast compared to other Holiday Inns my daughter and I have stayed at. The hot tub, however, my daughter kept complaining that there were dead bugs that were frequent in the water and she didn’t want to get in. It was crazy how breakfast was $15/per person per day depending on what item you chose for the meal. My daughter and I ended up just going two doors down to CFA cause the food option was better and it saved us more money. If we’d gotten breakfast at the hotel everyday my $1200~ for the stay would’ve totaled out to nearly $1300. I noticed stains on the lamp near the windows and some parts of the wall were chipping away. The curtains wouldn’t close unless we used excess force to really pull them together so I just gave up and accepted that we just barely had blackout curtains instead of breaking them. We’ve stayed at other Holiday Inns before and enjoyed them so I had expected the same experience. If I’d known better we would’ve just upgraded our stay elsewhere so we could actually get our money’s worth. We came for the BTS Tampa concert and wanted to enjoy activities outside of the concert as well but the whole hotel experience threw us off. I will say though, the employees always had a great attitude and were very kind which is why I made it 2 instead of 1 star. Honestly, it all just came down to the amenities.

I stay at a lot of hotels and this one had to be one of my most disappointing stays in several years. In addition to the hotel nightly rate we paid an additional $107 to let our pet stay. That felt excessive, but I wouldn’t have minded if the rest of the experience wasn’t awful.
The room itself was extremely dated and had weird colored walls. Our room was not stocked with kleenex, toilet paper, or towels. Not a great way to wake up in the morning when you are about to hop in the shower and realize you don’t have anything to dry yourself off with. There was also loads of dog hair in our room that we cleaned up ourselves. You’d think with the amount they charge to let your pet stay they would vacuum or sweep well before the next guest arrives.
On top of that security was poor. Doors to the property could be opened at any point of the night without a key card. Lots of zombies on the property or outside the doors smoking and likely doing drugs. Loud music at the pool late into the night.
The front desk staff was friendly and the bed itself was comfortable. With that being said I would never book here again. Felt like a $50 hotel room when in reality is was 1.5x that.
