  This place is a great spot for anyone visiting Clearwater beach to stay! It is less than a 7min walk to the beach, and is within a mile of anything you would need or want. Food, beach stores, and many other things. The hotel staff is friendly, too! The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner with great options and even better views! Jeremy at the restaurant is great! I’ve seen other reviews that the noice from the music at restaurant is too loud, but we stayed here for 3 nights and I never once heard any loud music from inside my room. The balcony with gulf view is a MUST if you’re debating. The view of the sunset, alone, each night is worth the nightly rate. 5/5 experience overall. The hallways do mislead you as it seems outdated, but our rooms were more than satisfactory.

  The location is great. Accessible to everything in Clearwater Beach. No need to drive, everything is within a walking distance. It was 4th of July weekend. You really couldn't leave if you wanted to. The parking lot was full and if you left, there wouldn't be a spot when you got back. They were selling parking to nonguest. When guests came to check in they didn't have anywhere to park. The most baffling part was you pay $37 a night for parking. Its cheaper to pay the attendant the daily fee instead of paying the hotel parking fee. You get a discount for not staying at the hotel. They did fix the shower within a few hours, which was nice. We got ready to leave around 5 am. The desk clerk was useless. Every hotel I had stayed at before, usually went and collected carts during the night shift. When I asked if they had any carts, his response was nobody brought them back or were being used. Its was 5 am. Nobody else was around. Seems like you didnt do your job. I will never understand the parking here. Its why I typically dont stay at ihg hotels anymore.

  We booked our stay through a Southwest Vacations package. The written documentation provided at the time of booking stated that all fees were included, including any hotel or resort fees. However, we were charged an additional fee upon check-in, which was unexpected and inconsistent with the information provided during booking. Additionally, our son was booked as a child through the vacation package, and breakfast was included as part of the package. Despite this, he was not provided the breakfast benefit that we paid for. We only received 2 not 3. These issues have made this trip very disappointing. We visit Florida two or three times each year, and unfortunately, this has been our most disappointing experience to date. While I understand the reservation was made through Southwest Vacations, the package benefits and fees are part of an agreement between Southwest and the establishment, and guests should be able to rely on the information provided when booking. Finally, we were informed that written permission was required to fly a personal drone from hotel property. My understanding is that drone operations are governed by federal, state, and local regulations, and I have been unable to find any applicable state law requiring written permission from the hotel. Given the issues we have encountered, we are extremely dissatisfied with our experience and do not anticipate booking with the property again. My advice read the ultra fine print and stay somewhere else
