  A bit further from the main building than would like but not horrible, about same time to walk to Grand Floridian

  Got an early morning knock on my door the day before our check out to pick up our luggage. Bell man woke us up.Never apologized just told me my name and said I called for pickup. Heard him scolding the downstairs person as he walked away. Concierge showed no empathy made excuses and called it a typo. Resort mgr did finally call and got 1st apology later that afternoon. Great resort all in all just remember if you book tower it's a 7-10 minute walk to main lobby gift shop busses monorail 15 minute walk to boat to magic kingdom all but one restaurant. Food was good at all 3 restaurants.

  We are longtime Disney fans but this is our first start at the Polynesian and our first start as Disney vacation club members. Our expectations have been met and exceeded.

  We love Disney Vacation Club and this was our first stay in the new Island Tower. We love it! The luxury of it, the location and views of Magic Kingdom and the lake are phenomenal! We are in a Tower duo studio and it is great for two people. The staff is amazing and we love walking around the lake to the other resorts and to the Magic Kingdom. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom is a good size. There are good food options close and the pool is beautiful. We will be back!

  Nothing bad to say about Disney World. We had issues with the HVAC in our room, wouldn't allow you to go above 61 degrees. Too cold for us! Took 4 hours to get fixed with no real room access but hotel was generous and gave us a gift card. We were celebrating and the concierge sent us a huge gift to congratulate us, that was awesome and unsuspected.
