    The rooms seem outdated and smell awful ,the wall outlet beside my bed didn’t work and when I asked for maintenance to fix it they told me nothing was wrong with it but still left a surge protector in my room . If the wasn’t anything wrong why would they leave it for me to use . Also , the lady at the front desk was very loud and pushy , not giving me a chance to talk . I stayed for 2 nights before I had enough. I checked out and went to a different hotel, still with IHG but a different location. I wasn’t allowed to buy water and candy with my debit card , only room charge or cash. That was sketchy to me , overall a basic hotel, definitely not anything special.

    The city of Bartow is putting on a bike event (so folks come from out of town for this event) and this hotel won’t allow bikes to be brought up to the rooms. We drove 2.5 hours to stay here and have stayed in many Holiday Inns that allowed us to bring them to the rooms. They didn’t even know why they had that rule. They just said “our manager said no bikes” they couldn’t give us a reason why. So we will stay somewhere else and give our money to another hotel. Such a shame.

    Randomly stopped here after driving 10 hours. Room available, service was great, location was great, room was great, and breakfast was great. I was so impressed by this hotel.

    The general manager of this hotel is by far the most delusional person I've ever dealt with and he is a horrible representative of this hotel chain. Thankfully I was able to block his attempt at charging my debit card, as he attempted 4 separate charges for multiple different amounts, for a stay we had to cancel after my sons race was canceled in the area. Never in my life have I dealt with a "manager" who was so rude. Making threats against a possible guest?? Wild.
