My family and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Rehoboth Beach for one night, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish.
A massive shoutout goes to Kesha in the kitchen, who is absolutely amazing with both her coworkers and the guests. We got down to breakfast a little late, but she went out of her way to wrap up some warm honey buns so we could take them back to our room and still enjoy a meal. That level of hospitality really stands out! The breakfast area itself was spotless and fully stocked, and the coffee from the machine just outside the kitchen was surprisingly good. There is also a very spacious, clean seating area just outside the lobby—along with even more space near the community computers—so it never felt crowded.
While we didn't go swimming, I checked out the pool area; it was perfectly clean and fully stocked with fresh towels. As a dog family, seeing the "pup wall" covered in pictures of puppies was a really cool, welcoming touch that we absolutely loved.
Our room was immaculate and stocked with everything we needed. Every amenity worked perfectly, the refrigerator was the ideal size for a family stay, and the TV was actually easy to navigate.
I loved our time at this hotel, and if you are looking for a clean, comfortable place in Rehoboth Beach with stellar staff, I know you will too. Highly recommend!

The location is a little awkward. It sits behind a strip shopping center and you have to pay attention to find it.
The rooms are updated and clean. Our AC unit was a bit wonky. There is a thermostat on the wall but it apparently does not work. The signage on the unit says to use the wall thermostat but you have to use the controls on the unit. It was a bit noisy and the temperature readout was not accurate. We were able to get it to work well enough for our stay.
The staff was friendly and helpful.
Complimentary breakfast was the typical assortment offered by Holiday Inn. The sausage patties were dry but everything else was passable

Staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating - I had an issue with the TV where it wouldn't let me cast from my devices at first and the staff were very helpful in getting me to the right person to solve the issue.
Amenities:
-There is Free breakfast every morning and plenty to go around from my experience - also there are two coffee stations that also pour hot water and I used them a lot during our stay there.
-There is a pool that is open during the day (forgot the hours but it's open for a while) and a 24/HR gym. I loved both the pool and gym and typically the gym was way less busy than the pool
-They have a washer and dryer next to the gym that accepts card payments which was super useful especially after going to the pool or beach
-Ice dispenser at every floor near the elevator
parking was great and there were always spaces free
Overall it was a great experience and I will be keeping this hotel in mind whenever I come back to Rehoboth!

Nice staff and a good location. Horrible beds! Very soft and beat up. Walls and furniture damaged in multiple rooms. Hallways and elevators rundown.

I eventually settled on this hotel for my trip to rehoboth beach after reading many great reviews, but I was less than impressed.
The main thing that bothered me was the fact that the hallway smelled so terrible our whole 4 day stay. Our room was on the 2nd floor and the moment you exited the elevator the entire hallway smelled like a porta potty.
If you want a place with a view this is not it. The only view is the parking lot. That's on me for not looking into that more. But if you're coming for the beach, due to the center city location getting the 3 miles there takes 20 mins of sitting in traffic.
Also, paid to do laundry at the hotel. It's $3 per machine! Only one set of machines and no chairs in the laundry room. So you have to stand for hours waiting if you don't want to leave it unattended. Paid $3 for the dryer just for it to not dry and then had to pay it again, couldn't just do a little bit of time. $9 for a small load of wash is a rip off! I'm already paying over a thousand to stay here.
Upon arriving I spent over an hour trying to figure out how to connect my phone to the TV because it gives an option to cast. Would not work no matter what I tried. Wasted my time and energy. Very annoying.
My biggest reason for getting this hotel was to get a place with breakfast included. All the reviews are saying how great the breakfast is, but honestly it's comparable to what you'd get at public school. It's not bad, don't get me wrong, it's just not this amazing thing that these other people are saying.
The most redeemable thing about the hotel is how friendly the front desk staff was. And housekeeping was on top of providing new towels daily which I appreciated.
All and all though, for how much I paid I was very disappointed and wish I just looked into getting an Airbnb for almost the same price.
