  This gem of a hotel was exactly what we needed! We were able to book our stay with less than a week’s notice, which was a pleasant surprise. The staff was warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful from the moment we arrived. Our room was spacious, recently updated, and exceptionally clean. The sheets and towels were soft and fresh, making it feel even more comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was a wonderful bonus—don’t skip the cheese omelet! The location is another huge plus. It’s only about a 10-minute walk to the boardwalk and beach, with mini golf and a great crab shack right next door. There are also several little perks included with your stay that made the experience even better. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, and conveniently located place to stay, this hotel is absolutely worth it. We had a fantastic experience and are already looking forward to coming back!

  I enjoyed my stay here. The room was big and comfortable, breakfast was okay, and the staff were really nice. The hotel has a pool and offers beach chairs and umbrellas, plus it’s just a short walk to the beach. The area felt quiet and safe, and the free miniature‑golf tickets were a fun bonus. The only downside was the parking fee.

  My stay from June 12 to June 14 started off reasonably well. The hotel facilities were acceptable, although the shower had very low water pressure. The breakfast buffet was also quite limited, consisting only of scrambled eggs, sausage, bread, and gravy, which was disappointing. Unfortunately, the biggest issue was the way my charges were handled. Without any prior notice, the hotel charged $100 to my card. When I asked about it the next morning, I was told that $50 was a refundable security deposit and the other $50 was for parking. I accepted that explanation and continued enjoying my trip. However, when I checked out, I was told I still owed an additional $50. I explained that I had already been charged that amount based on what the front desk had told me the day before. None of the four employees I spoke with could clearly explain the discrepancy. Instead, they eventually claimed that because I booked through Expedia, I had to pay additional charges, which made little sense and contradicted the previous explanation. To protect myself from further unauthorized charges, I blocked my credit card. After that I was told I would receive an itemized bill by email but the hotel attempted to charge my card multiple times, but the transactions were decline. I spent over a week repeatedly trying to speak with the manager. Every time I called, I was told the manager was unavailable and to call back the next day. I also contacted the number they provided for customer issues and received the same response. Eventually, I was promised that the manager would call me, but more than 10 days passed without any follow-up. The facilities themselves were acceptable, but the lack of transparency regarding billing, the inability of the staff to explain the charges, and the complete lack of management follow-up completely overshadowed my stay. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this hotel. If you choose to stay here, monitor your credit card charges very carefully and make sure you receive a clear explanation of every charge before checking out.

  This was a great find. The hotel staff were nice, professional, and efficient. The room was very clean and the upkeep of the facilities was consistent. The hotel is a little walk to the beachfront, but well worth the price and a nice location to the boardwalk. The perks were great too including local discounts, evening cookies, and beach amenities. Nice pool and a putt putt in the back. Highly recommend.

  The location and rooms are both very nice. Unfortunately, the service was lacking. Between a reservation and pre-check in survey they failed to disclose a $150 pet fee. Additionally, an employee supervising the buffet snapped at me for another guest's actions I was not involved in, talked down to her coworkers, and pocketed a tip I saw a guest give her instead of placing it in the communal tip jar. Between the nearly $500 per night fee and my experiences with her, airbnb looks like the way to go.
