This was one of the best hotel stays I’ve had in a long time. Location was excellent, staff was fantastic, breakfast was delicious and such a nice variety, hotel was bright and clean, loved our hotel room, loved the close proximity to the beach. My husband and I will definitely be repeat customers next year!!

Our room was clean. Bathroom was also clean... plenty of towels, washcloths, soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc. Water pressure and shower head was good as well. Our beds weren't very comfortable though... very firm. The breakfast food was quite good. However the setup of the eating area is poor and it's grossly undersized... expect to wait for a table to clear. Also, if you're a coffee snob absolutely don't drink the hotel's coffee 🤢. The beach concierge service is definitely a big plus. The walk to the beach is not bad at all... 2 blocks (~10ish minutes). Overall, we had a good time and may consider coming back at some point.

This is a low end hotel. The owners and staff need to try much harder to justify the price/cost for a room. Sheets and blankets were dirty. The breakfast was mediocre and that was the highlight because the coffee was hot and the apples/oranges were fresh and not mealy. At least there appeared to be enough parking for everyone on a busy summer weekend.

Would not recommend this hotel. The room smelled funky and the carpet was dirty. The bathroom was never cleaned and there was still a used wash cloth hanging on the rod from previous visitors. Wife found a left behind shoe behind the curtain on day 3. Pay a couple hundred to park in their own large lot? Extra $25 to have room cleaned? Totally unnecessary money grab.

The service is great and the rooms are clean. There’s a lot of clever and thoughtful elements throughout such as adorable footprints guiding toward a foot washing station, outside pool bathrooms, a free round of putt-putt, and a local welcome drink. Location and proximity to the beach can’t be beat! One element that brought me some concern and caution was with the way dampness was handled. Upon arrival, we immediately noticed a dank smell in the room which didn’t improve after some hours of running the AC (it wasn’t on when we got there). We spoke with the front desk and they immediately went up to investigate (kindly and promptly). They acknowledged the smell and arranged for an ionizer to be brought in the next day when maintenance would be in. While it got rid of the worst of it, it was certainly still there. Mold can grow with just a few days and wet swimwear, towels, etc can easily contribute to unwanted growth (bacteria/mold) — a health hazard. Swimsuits didn’t dry for days which tells me the humidity in the hotel was quite high — my own home is in the humid side (I even have to run a dehumidifier every day) and mine dry within 24 hours. There were no drying racks and the rooms were covered in thick carpet, an ideal breeding ground. The closet was clearly used as a drying rack and the poles were rusted from all the use, clearly not designed for this purpose but used out of necessity. Dehumidifiers, ventilation, and proper drying stations can make this already good hotel absolutely exemplary. This investment would likely lengthen the life of the building and vastly improve the experience. I stayed a year ago and didn’t have this issue — something may have changed or it was a room difference. I did notice a few open doors to neighboring rooms on my floor that had the same smell or even worse come from them. I would truly love to stay again and I really enjoyed my time there. I just don’t know if I’m comfortable risking it and frankly, other guests and staff (who are there all day) shouldn’t have to.
