  Well-meaning staff but a serious pest issue, including a cockroach that I saw crawl onto the neck of a woman attending a rooftop event. Again, the event staff were helpful overall.

  You expect a hotel that costs this much and prides itself on a artistic modern aesthetic to have real plants, not tacky fakes ones out front. So cheap looking.

  The staff was exceptional and beyond reproach. The room was nice, clean, and very pleasant. This hotel falls short in its on-site restaurants. My first issue was when I wanted to order a drink from the bar, the menu I looked at online was not current. When asking for a menu that was for the current season, I was told that there was no menu, essentially leaving no options. The first morning, my wife and I went to eat breakfast. We saw a mouse in the restaurant and were bombarded by fruit flies the whole time. My wife and I ended up not feeling well soon after. When we tried to order room service, we ordered two salads and fries. The salads were marked as $0, but when they arrived, they were $16 a salad. When we tried to explain this to the gentleman who brought it to us, he could not understand and ended up leaving with our whole order. After experiencing these issues, I reached out to the dedicated customer service email, explaining my concerns. I never received any email back or correspondence explaining or apologizing for the issues. Though a good hotel with great staff, it does not meet the mark on addressing the small details that really make or break a hotel and did not earn the luxury title that it claims to have.

  We had a fantastic stay at the Viceroy DC while attending the Freedom Prix 250! From start to finish, the staff provided outstanding hospitality and amazing customer service. A special shout-out to Zach, who made our check-in experience exceptional. He explained all of the hotel benefits in detail, always recognized us whenever we entered or left the property, and truly made us feel welcomed. Zach even went above and beyond to assist with a request I had after hours. Thanks a million, Zach, for making our stay even more memorable! I’d also like to recognize Nia and Natasha for their professionalism, courtesy, and warm service during our checkout process. They were fantastic and helped end our stay on a very positive note. We didn’t get a chance to enjoy the rooftop pool, but it looked like an amazing place to relax and unwind. A major plus is the rooftop bar, which we’ll definitely have to check out on our next visit! Overall, we had a wonderful experience at the Viceroy DC. The beautiful property, excellent staff, and exceptional customer service made our stay truly memorable. We’ll definitely be back!

  We stayed for four nights and had a great experience. The location is excellent for exploring Washington, while the hotel itself feels calm and relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. The rooms are high quality and very comfortable, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful. A special highlight was the rooftop area with the small pool and bar – a perfect place to slow down and relax. A very good hotel and definitely recommended.
