  I am currently a guest at this hotel and am very dissapointed with the lack of service/dismissive attitude that I witnessed last night at the concierge desk. Another guest (whose first language was not English) asked for my help in the elevator. She and her husband had spotted a rodent in their room and alerted the concierge. While the hotel staff did close off the point of entry for the rodent, no other solutions were provided. This woman felt the room was unsafe/unsanitary to habitat but the concierge told her that the hotel was fully booked. The potential health risks/disease exposures were not addressed at all. I insisted that if the hotel is full that they need to find another hotel to safely house the couple that night and they obliged but with some reluctance. The woman cried and thanked me for my help to get a solution, which broke my heart because her concerns should have been taken seriously the first time she contacted the hotel staff.

  Stayed here for a long weekend and honestly it exceeded expectations. The rooms are stylish without trying too hard — clean lines, great beds, and the kind of bathroom you actually want to spend time in. Location on 14th Street is perfect; walkable to so much but still feels like you’re in a real neighborhood rather than the tourist bubble. The staff were genuinely warm, not just going-through-the-motions hotel friendly. And having Dovetail downstairs is a huge bonus — we ended up eating there twice because why would you leave? Only downside was that the pool was being renovated when we went!! Would 100% book again next time I’m in DC.

  We booked our wedding room block here, with our venue 1 block away at Fathom Gallery 14 Street. This was the perfect central location to all of our wedding events. The rooms were stunning, service impeccable, and the hotel was truly the perfect home base for our wedding weekend. Working with Khris to manage the room block was seamless, and she was very responsive to my questions and requests. Every individual we encountered whether it be valet, front desk, room service, or housekeeping was friendly, and truly went above and beyond knowing we were there for our wedding. We could not have had a better experience and are looking forward to our next visit.

  Bon hôtel mais le petit déjeuner compris n’en n’est pas un. C’est un forfait de 20$ par personne et la carte ne permet pas vraiment de ne pas dépasser. On avait choisi l’hôtel pour la piscine (30 degrés en ce 17 mai) mais elle est fermée et nous n’avons pas été avertis. Très déçus ! Bon emplacement pour rejoindre à vélo les principaux monuments et musées.

  Went to an event at the Lincoln Theater and was very lucky to stay at the Viceroy Hotel. Hotel was very lovely and the location could not be beat. Everything fun and yummy is within walking distance. What made this a very special trip though was the staff. We felt very welcomed and cared for after receiving a great greeting from our valet. The front desk reception staff were impeccable as well with clearly explaining all of our amenities during our stay and just made us feel very pampered and special. Our stay included breakfast at BPM Coffee and each day we were taken care of by Ayla (Alexsandra). She was so efficient and friendly (never thought those two words could ever go together)…it was actually fun watching her navigate customers’ orders with ease (it was very busy during our stay), prepare everyone’s food/beverages, and still have time to give everyone a little personal touch with fun banter and chitchat. We came to the Viceroy feeling like honored guests and we left feeling like family. Thanks Aya for really elevating our experience!! Definitely recommend this location anytime you’re in need of accommodations in DC!
