  Hotel staff were polite and helpfull. Room was clean and comfortable. Cafe had good food, and staff were friendly and made us feel at home. Fourth of July fireworks at the rooftop pool were awesome. Many of us stood in line for way over an hour to be let onto the rooftop. I feel security handled those who did cut, or tried to cut to the front of the line (poorly). Approxamately 88 people were treated poorly by (the couple that did cut) and security seemed to side with them not those who had gotten there early and patiently waited in line (at least till the couple showed up). This left a bad memory on an very enjoyable stay !

  Overall, everything was good except for one very disappointing experience. When I checked in, the front desk agent told me that breakfast would cost $6.99 per adult, and my child would eat for free. When I booked the hotel online, I saw that breakfast would cost about $23, so I had decided not to add it. After hearing the front desk agent say it was only $6.99, I was surprised and asked her several times to make sure I understood correctly. I even confirmed that two adults would be about $14 total, and she repeatedly said yes. Before I walked away, I asked one more time if it was really $6.99 because I wanted to purchase breakfast. She told me I could simply eat first and pay afterward. I do not believe my English is so poor that I would misunderstand such a simple number, especially after confirming it multiple times. The next morning, after we finished breakfast, I was charged $16.99 per person instead. In my opinion, the breakfast was not worth that price at all. What upset me is not the money itself. What made me angry was that the front desk agent appeared to have deliberately misled me. I felt deceived and taken advantage of. This was the worst part of my trip. I am very disappointed. Misleading customers like this is unacceptable and seriously damages trust.

  Estuve alojado la semana pasada,el señor Jhonny de recepción no fue amable y nos quiso dar una habitación 4 en lugar de las 2 dobles que teníamos reservadas y pagas. Se hacía el que no entendía y tampoco nos quería dar los desayunos correspondiente,nos llevo un tiempo hasta que acepto. Nunca se disculpo.

  We booked this hotel a month in advance for our 4-day family trip to Washington, D.C. The location, price, and pool made it an easy choice. The hotel was very family-friendly, and the pool was a great way to cool off after sightseeing in the summer heat. The free laundry room on the 9th floor, equipped with Samsung washers and dryers, was especially helpful during the heat wave. Freshly washed clothes made a big difference. The breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly. Overall, it was a comfortable stay, and I would recommend this hotel to families visiting Washington, D.C.

  The staff is wonderful, everyone of them are amazing, kind and sweet people. The room was always clean and housekeeping cleaned the room everyday with the exception of me telling them not today. I would very much stay there again and would tell other people to go there as well.
