  The location of this hotel cannot be beat! It is so close to the National Mall, the L’Enfant Metro Station and the DC Southwest Shuttle Bus which made navigating around the city possible without driving through DC traffic. The front desk staff was welcoming and kind! They even had little event for hotel guests on July 3! Last stay we overlooked the Virginia Railway Express and this stay we overlooked patio seating connected to the lobby. We enjoyed both rooms. However, it was quieter this most recent stay due to not being right up against the train tracks. We also appreciated the water filter fill up at the water fountains by the bathrooms. We were also happily surprised to find some DC themed shirts that stalls on the street in DC had been charging almost double for! We purchased one for each member of the family on the trip. There is some visible wear and tear on the popular hotel. The fire alarm went off during our stay multiple times on our floor. Also,one elevator went in and out of service throughout our stay. Personally, these are not dealbreakers for me due to the location and kind, attentive and efficient staff that make up for these other things. I plan on returning to this hotel for my next trip to DC! 💙

  One of my greatest experience during my time here has been the service from the staff. Security Officer Karey provided outstanding service throughout my stay. As a hotel security officer, Karey was professional, courteous, and approachable at all times. His presence made us feel safe and welcomed, and he consistently went above and beyond to assist guests with a positive attitude. It’s clear that Officer Karey takes pride in the job and genuinely cares about the safety and comfort of everyone at the hotel. Excellent customer service like this deserves recognition. Thank you, Officer Karey, for making my stay a great experience!

  The location alone should be your reason to stay here, yes, our walk through the National Mall began minutes from this Holiday Inn location. The restaurant inside this Holiday Inn serves a delicious menu, very tasty! We likely will stay here on our next trip to Washington, and therefore, we recommend this Holiday Inn location to you as well.

  I enjoyed the convenient location near the museums and appreciated the safe, well-maintained surrounding area. Having a Starbucks connected to the lobby and several dining options on the same block was very helpful. However, I encountered several issues during my stay. The foldout bed in my room was sinking in the middle, which resulted in poor sleep quality. I also noticed that the hotel's proximity to the train tracks may be a concern for light sleepers. Regarding the parking facilities, I found the layout difficult to navigate, and the gate did not function properly. Additionally, the parking staff was unfriendly, which negatively impacted my experience. Overall, the good outweighed the "bad," and I would recommend this Holiday Inn, as well as staying here again.

  Great experience! Upon arrival was greeted by Desmond and Tuesday, who were kind, polite and friendly. Tuesday explained all the details with maps, hotel information and received (2) water bottles for being IHG Members. The room was adequate and comfortable. Our guest help Mohammed took care of our luggage as we were checking out. Miranda at the Front Desk was a joy talking to about our experience at their hotel. Great experience over all with other guests and perfect location to tour amazing museums around this hotel.
