As someone with a platinum status with Holiday Inn, I am disappointed with the customer service here. If it hadn’t been for the spacious room and the city view from my room, I would’ve given the hotel a 1-star rating. There are many cons such as no Netflix or streaming services on the Television, no pool on site, door slamming from guests, constant train noises at night, and expensive commissary items (one SmartWater bottle cost $7, one ice cream cone cost about $10, etc.). But what annoyed me the most is requesting for housekeeping in advance and not receiving the service. My trip to DC was for about 2 weeks and I had many businesses to attended, and was disappointed to see my hotel room
not cleaned after requesting for such service in advance on multiple occasions; that is such a disrespect from the hotel staff! I am disappointed.

The hotel has been remodeled and the rooms are not bad at all. The staff aren't the best and if you hungry then be prepared to pay $10 for frozen Mac and Cheese, or you can walk across the street and buy it for $3.99. They do charge you for your entire stay in addition to a hold when you check in, which I found odd. The neighbor is not the greatest, my Uber driver told me to not leave at night.

We called ahead to confirm we could check in under 21 with no deposit for a concert in the area and were told yes. When we arrived, the front desk employee repeatedly denied this, even after we showed call records, and was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. After the concert, another employee admitted this kind of miscommunication happens often. No one would provide the manager’s name or direct number, and we ended up paying a $250 deposit we were told wouldn’t be required. Overall, very poor communication and customer service. I would like some kind of compensation.

The hotel has a friendly staff and the rooms are clean and comfortable, making for a pleasant stay. However, the Wi-Fi was a bit spotty at times, which was frustrating when trying to work. Overall, it’s a decent option for a short visit.
We stayed in the hotel 2 weeks ago and we have not receive back the $100 extra they said they will return it, I read the page and it says it supossed to will be return 7 days after our check out with was 2 weeks ago. Still waiting for the back up money back...
