The room had a very musty smell. No fan in the bathroom, and pee stains behind the toilet. Doesn't give me a good feeling of overall cleanliness. I've stayed at much nicer Holiday Inns than this one.

We arrived yesterday afternoon around 7pm and recieved our room key from a younger gentleman who didnt give us any direction what so ever. We went to our room to find the heat still on and a musty odor everywhere. The trash in the bathroom had trash in it and there was not any bars of soap or anything left out for hand washing.
I am unsure how to attach images for now but the bathroom was dirty, the caulking in the shower was yellow and falling off/peeling. When we went to the pool there was a nice seeming couple having a private moment in it, the water smelt strongly of chemicals and was foggier than others we have seen. I didnt go in, he kids played momentarily but ultimately it didnt feel like a kid space.
There was odd banging all night long and none of us slept.
When we checked out the morning gentleman was really nice and older than the previous. I hope renovations do them well.
There was also mold on the bathroom ceiling and peeling paint.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Shuttle service provided to and from airport. King suite was clean and comfortable. Dove body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. Glass door, no shower curtain. The only things I would recommend are a clock with sound machine to absorb the traffic noise and a shower wand. Everything else was excellent. Would stay again.

For some reason the amount of reviews would make you think this was a crummy hotel, this place exceeded my expectations and was very nice. Free breakfast was a bonus

I chose this hotel because it is incredibly close to the airport and usually a reliable option, but my recent stay during their current upgrade work was a complete disaster.
The issues started on a scheduled day for water shutoffs. The water was supposed to be back on by 6:00 PM. Instead, it stayed off until almost midnight. I had just finished working a exhausting 12-hour day and was forced to try and wash up using water bottles.
Once washed up, I went to sleep, only to be jolted awake later by the fire alarms going off. When I got out into the hallway, I ran into a chaotic situation where a family was frantically trying to pry a door open where a woman was trapped in elevator.
The hotel staff was completely overwhelmed by everything going on. I honestly don't blame the front desk or local workers, as they were dealing with a massive failure of the building's systems, but the situation became entirely unmanageable. I ended up packing my bags and leaving in the middle of the night to find another hotel just so I could get some peace and sleep.
This isn't inherently a bad hotel, and the location is perfect if you need to be near Bradley Airport. However, management should not be booking guests into rooms while their upgrade work is causing this level of severe disruption and safety hazards. I highly recommend staying somewhere else until their renovations are fully complete.
