Perfect spot for our family reunion. The staff is amazing and took good care of us! The food at the Pub was so great and we ate there for all our dinners. We loved walking around the cute town.

My review is for the wildly unprofessional and unsympathetic and unempathetic staff. I booked a room here for a long weekend with a dog. Called and left a message to double confirm that I’m bringing a dog. They reached out the day of to let me know they cannot accommodate me because their dog friendly rooms are unavailable and cancelled my reservation. No apologies or offer for support. Now I’m in Connecticut on my birthday scrambling to find a place. To me, I don’t care how nice a place is if the staff could care less about you. Just a warning if you have a dog to double and triple check your reservations there. It’s truly not very dog friendly. Update: thanks but no thanks for the generic comment. An apology would’ve been sufficient on the day you cancelled my reservation when my family and I were already in Connecticut and left without a place to stay.

This was my second stay at The Surfside Hotel while visiting my student at Sacred Heart. It's a quick little drive from the school, in a nice neighborhood, with the most spectacular setting on the water. The rooms are minimalist in decor but super clean and our room had a balcony, and we left the slider open at night and listened to the waves. There's a cute little coffee room with fruit and a snack, and a little workout room. Both are ample for your weekend stay! The Little Pub has an amazing view and good food and drinks. It's all very reasonably priced. Give it a try!
