    We were supposed to be there Aug 11-13th. I happened to go on Google to see something about the hotel and noticed that it said temporarily closed. So now I’m panicking because we had made these reservations months in advance- i contact hotel no answer, i contact IHG and ask them what’s going on- they told me someone will let me know in 48 hours. So 48 hours go by and no one got back to me so i contacted them again- they said according to website they are closed - yes Ty i saw that myself. No one from IHG reached out to let us know that the hotel will be closed and our reservation would be cancelled. I made a new reservation at their New London location. Which ended up being fine however- if i didn’t randomly look something up about hotel i wouldn’t have known it was closed and drove 3 hours to CT with no hotel to stay at. I gave my complaints to the company and they just didn’t seem to care. Shame on them horrible upper management and customer service

    Booked this hotel through Expedia for a July trip. When we showed up, there was a note on the door that it was closed for repairs. Don't put yourself out there to take reservations when you are not open!

    The worst! This hotel is not open and didn’t have the decency to cancel any reservations as you can see from the many other 1 star reviews!! I would never star at any holiday inn

    I made reservations in March for this weekend. I drove 3.5 hours and got there for check in and the hotel was completely empty. There was a sign on the door stating it was closed until further notice due to a pipe bursting, and a permit on display dated May. I can’t believe I didn’t get a phone call to cancel my reservation. I called IHG because what else do you do at 10pm? And they stated my reservation had been cancelled. I am beyond upset with IHG and can’t believe this happened.
