  This is probably the cleanest and friendliest Best Western we have ever stayed in. We were so impressed how spotless everything was. The staff were all so friendly and accommodating..from the desk receptionists to the employees mopping and vacuuming the floors . The breakfast was nice and the attendant kept everything stocked and very neat and clean. Obviously, very good management. We would definitely stay here again if in the area. Thank you for such a pleasant experience!

  I’m back on the road traveling for work, and I was genuinely glad to land at this hotel for my first stop. While it’s definitely not a luxury 5-star resort, it is a solid, reliable place to stay. A few rooms could use a little TLC, and the elevator can be slightly intimidating at times, but honestly, I’ve seen far worse! The breakfast has a wide variety of options to choose from. I definitely look forward to the days they bring out the bacon—though my arteries are probably thankful they don't serve it every day. The indoor humidity can feel a bit overbearing at times, but it’s Connecticut in the summer, so that’s somewhat expected. Overall, it was a great, comfortable stay. The staff was super friendly (well, most of them anyway! 😂). Would stay again.

  Very easy to get to. The room is beautiful and spacious. The whole hotel feels wet and smells like cat pee and weed. There was trash on the headboard and hair in the shower drain. Honestly, I feel like a refund or reduced rate shouldn’t be out of the question.

  Worst hotel experience in years. Hotel smelled of mold everywhere. The tile floors in our room were so sticky I needed to wash my feet after walking barefoot and use shoes. The a/c was so difficult to adjust that I turned it off. The bathroom has a nasty sour smell. The room was small with the sink in the bedroom area. The whole room shook when guests in adjacent rooms next door or upstairs closed their doors or walked around. The vending machines were barely stocked and the stuff in them (peanut m&Ms) was stale and had been melted. The breakfast was bad... Only cereal options were mixture of off-brand corn flakes which were tasteless and had bad texture, and Cheerios (guessing off brand.. I didn't try). And only 2% milk. The coffee was adequate. We were so happy to get out of there early next morning.

  Nothing like the Best Western standards were used to, at other locations. Breakfast was awful. Nothing like the attractive display we are used to at Best Western properties. We went up the street to Rein’s. Two people had to fix the blinds for us. Rather than a remote control I’d have rather just had blinds or shades that are adjusted by hand. When asked for fresh towels front desk person flatly refused. I called Best Western and they gave us points in lieu of a refund — the amount was generous. When we arrived home we received a strange email from the property accusing us of soiling their room with food — and feces. Again I called Best Western and they showed me photos they said the property had taken of our room. The photos included women’s clothing — we are two guys, and they’d said the pictures were taken after check out. Then why were there *any* belongings left, much less ones that weren’t ours. Weird weird weird.
