  Overpriced for the outdated lodging. The window was open when we entered the room, and the desk attendant was nowhere to be found in the lobby. They're understaffed and charging $279 for the stay. The room only had 3 towels for a 4 guest stay. The breakfast was fine, but nothing to write home about.

  The Good, The Bad, and the overall. Bugs? Nope. Our top priority was looking for a hotel that had zero reviews that mentioned bedbugs. This was at Hotel. And while there there was no evidence of any bugs of any kind. Which we both appreciated. Arrival/Reception: The woman at the counter wa very nice (long dark curly hair and bangs), gave us a Kong when we had reserved a double queen, but once we came back to reception to get it corrected she was nice about it. (The first room phone also did not work so we could not call to discuss the issue from that phone, just easier to walk back to reception then to look up number and call from cell). No cookies on arrival, but maybe that is cost of an after 10 PM check in, but still a bit of a bummer. Keys: One did not work and that was the one we took to to breakfast so had to walk from room back to desk to get it fixed. Beds: Very comfortable. Supportive with a bit of a pillow top feel. CHoice of labeled soft and firm pillows. My husband felt the "soft" pillow was still too thick. Room: Very quiet, doors blocks hallway noise exceptionally well and position of the hotel was such that no rooms are near a loud road. Hotel seemed full while we were there, busy even at 11 PM, yet still quiet. Our second room was more humid and musty on arrival, but A/C addressed pretty quickly. The toilet was also running, flushed needed to be pulled up after each flush to make stop. View from window was nice with trees. A/C: Worked well and was quiet. Bathroom: No mold in spite of having no fan/ventilation system. I think another review suggested mold in a top corner of the bathroom. I took a similar picture of that section of the bathroom, which for our room was clean, but I could see why mold could grow there given the poor ventilation. Breakfast: Good with lots of options, not just a bunch of cheap carbs. OVERALL: Polite and professional staff, comfortable, quiet, and clean room, and awesome bed. ALthough imperfect, this place was a keeper and would stay again.

  The staff at this location took incredible care of me and I feel confident telling you they’ll do the same for you. Great place to stay, I’ll be back soon.

  I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. I stayed here for three nights. The first night was paid by my company, but for the following nights I was repeatedly charged on my personal card, even though the reservation was supposed to be handled by the company. It took far too much time to resolve the payment issue, and the staff did not provide a clear explanation. They also told me that there were no rooms available, but later I found out that rooms were actually available. I felt that I was misled. This caused unnecessary stress and frustration. I expected much better customer service and communication. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this hotel.

  I've been traveling to Branford, CT for work at least once a month over the past nine months, staying anywhere from one to three nights at a time, and this hotel has consistently been my go-to choice. The front desk team is always welcoming, professional, and helpful. The hotel offers a complimentary breakfast, and while I haven't had a chance to try it myself yet, I've seen plenty of guests enjoying it each morning. They also have a fitness center and an indoor pool, though my work schedule hasn't allowed me to take advantage of those amenities yet. The rooms are consistently spotless and well-maintained. I especially appreciate having both a mini fridge and microwave in the room. The beds are exceptionally comfortable, and I love that they provide pillows with different firmness levels so guests can choose what works best for them. After many stays, I can confidently say this is the only hotel I choose when I'm in the area. Highly recommended for both business and leisure travelers.
