  The room was very clean and the bed comfortable... But this is the second Holiday Inn Express that I've stayed at lately with TV problems. When I arrived yesterday I was told that they are having issues and a technician is working on it. I was offered to cancel for free, but having traveled all day I didn't relish the idea of looking for another room last minute so I stayed. I'm staying here for another night and as of right now the TV still doesn't work. The TV's are also old enough that they don't offer Netflix or any other streaming which is ridiculous considering how long most other hotels have been offering this service. For the current price of a hotel room I think there are better options.

  Very nice staff, free breakfast, nice and clean room. It is not fancy like other hotels but it is nice for the price you pay

  If I could give 10 stars or more to the staff and IHG policies, I would. The class I had signed up for had changed dates, and even though it was after IHG's cancellation deadline, IHG allowed me to change dates. How nice. Then, the class finished after one day instead of two, and IHG allowed me to check out one day early, and did not charge me for that unstayed 2nd night. On top of this, IHG did NOT charge me that stupid incidental fee that other hotels charge and which stays on your card for a month until you pester them to take it off your card. The room was quiet, clean, comfortable. Staff checked me in quickly, and was nice to reassure me I would not be charged the second night. In this day and age, I especially appreciate IHG's policies which are user friendly. Before this stay, I never had a loyalty to any particular hotel chain, but after this experience, I will always always stay at IHG hotels, preferably Holiday Inn Express. Thank you for a nice stay and your generous policies.

  I am extremely disappointed with how this hotel handled my stay and my complaint afterward. Around 5:00 a.m., I went into the bathroom and discovered water leaking from the ceiling vent directly above me. The water dripped onto my head, the bathroom floor became wet, and I had no way of knowing what the source of the leak was. It was unsettling and unsanitary, and I was left to clean up the mess myself. When I reported the issue, the front desk initially offered me 10,000 IHG points or a $75 discount, neither offer reflected the seriousness of the situation. I was told the hotel manager would contact me to discuss the matter further. The most disappointing part is that the manager never called. Instead, I was later told that the hotel claimed they had already spoken with me and resolved the issue, which is simply not true. I have still never received the promised call. I also contacted IHG Guest Relations and was told I would receive a response within 48 hours, but that deadline also passed without any communication. Accidents can happen at any hotel. What matters is how management responds. Unfortunately, the lack of follow-through, poor communication, and failure to honor their commitment to contact me made the experience even worse than the leak itself. I expected much better customer service and accountability from both the hotel and IHG. I cannot recommend this property based on how this situation was handled.

  Outside of breakfast hours the only place to get cool water is in your room or in a gym. And sometimes the gym one is broken. There is one laundry room that is locked because they are waiting on parts to fix the single washer and dryer provided for a full hotel of people. The rooms don't have modern usb plugs and I had to go buy a wall out let. The breakfast the serve is just as bad as typical hotels.
